The families are totally excited for the rokha... All preparations are being made...

At Kapoor Mansion..
AK was sitting with dadi.. Showing her the list of items that need to be purchased...
AK: maa aur kuch h jo reh gaya??
Dadi: waise puttar.. Ghodi ka intezaam kar de.. Mast hatti katti honi chaiye.. Ekdum mere golu jaisi... Tandurust ..
Ak: par maa.. Bacche toh reg marriage karne wale hai na!! Toh ghodi?
Dadi: dekha jayega..
Kk entered the room just then..
Kk: maa.. Wo jeweller aye h.. Priya ke lie anguthi pasand karni hai.. Ram bhi nhi hai.. Aap meri madad kar dijiye na please..
Dadi: ruk aati hu..
They chose the most attracive platinum ring available.. Studded with a diamond.. Adding to its elegance and beauty!!
Kk: maa ye boht acchi hai..
Dadi: oye krishna puttar.. Tu ne priya puttar ke ghar walo ko bataya ya nhi.. Ke golu ko heera nhi bhata.. Pandit ji ne kaha hai na.. Ki heere uske lie theek nhi hai...
Kk: arre baap re.. Maa accha hua aap ne bqta dia.. Mai bhool hi gayi thi... Sorry... Mai abhi sudheer ji ko phone karti hu...
She called up sudheer..
Kk: wo bhaisaab.. Aap se baat karni thi.. Important baat hai.. Wo hum abhi priya ke lie anguthi chun rahe the.. Toh yaad aya ke aap bhi ram ke lie le rhe honge..
Sudheer: haan ji.. Wo hum ne toh ring pasand kar lia hai ram ke lie..
Kk: kahin usme heera nhi hai na?? Wo.. Ram ko heera nhi bhaata.. Pandit ji ne mana kia hai..
Sudheer: nahi nahi behanji.. Wo.. Hum ne toh plain sa platinum band chuna tha ram ke lie...
Kk: chalo shukar hi.. Mai rakhti hu..
Prachi.. Priya's bua came up from behind sudheer..
Bua: kya baat h bhaiyya.. Kya keh rahe thhe??
Sudheer told her abt the convo..
Bua: arre.. Ye kyA tareeka hua.. Diamond ring chaiye toh seede bol dete.. Aise ghuma firA k baat karne ki kya zarurat thi??
Sudheer: prachi... Dekho.. Wo boht acche log hai.. Aise kuch nahi socha hoga un logo ne... Mai unse mil chuka hu..
Prachi bua however did not pay heed and went to priyA.. And unhone priya ke paas jakar chugli maar di.. Ab priya ko toh.. U know.. How quickly her temper rises.. Toh phir chad gaya para aur lagaya usne phone ram ko...
Priya: haan ram.. Mai hu..
Ram: yaa.. Priya.. Bolo..
Priya: aap log samajte kya h apne aap ko.. Huh?? Ameer honge apne ghR me.. Hume dikhane ki zarurat nhi hai.. Aap log ladke wale hai toh kya? Humari kya koi izzat nhi h??
Ram: arre ek min baba... Batao toh.. Hua kya hai..
Priya: pehlee toh aap logo ne rokhe ki tariq bina puche hi fix kar di..
Ram: ek min.. Tariq tumhare papa ko puch kar hi fix ki thi...
Priya: haan whatever.. Par aaj.. Aap ki maa ne!!
She told ram what kk told sudheer..
Ram: listen to me.. Mai tumhe ek baar nhi kahi baar bol chuka hu.. My family is my ego qur mere ego ko hurt mat karo.. And scond.. Maa ne jo bola sahi bola.. Mujhe sqch me heere se problem hai.. Mqi apni mom ko aur unki soch ko janta hu.. Mujhe tumse jan ne ki zzarurat nahi..
Priya: whatever.. Shaadi iss baar pakka cancel!!
And she put the phone... Sudheer heard this talk.
He was furious on priya... He went into her room.. Prachi was there too..
Sudheer: akal kya guthne m hai tum dono ki... Huh.. Smajhte kya ho apne aap ko tum dono? Arre agar kapoor parivaar chahta na, tumhe na chun kar kisi amer gharane ki ladki ko chunta.. Par nahi.. Unhe paise aur status inn sabse zyada kadr hai insaano ki.. Bavnaon ki.. Samjhe.. Aur prachi.. Iss pagli ke bare m toh tu janti hai.. Phir b jake isko chada kyu thi thi? Tujhe kya pata nahi ye gusse me anab shanab bakti rehti hai.. Toh phir??
Just then there was a ring at the door.. Priya opened it and found Ram there..
Sudheer: arre.. Damad ji.. Aaiye..
Ram: wo.. Im sorry iss waqt aya.. Par agar ye rishta khatm b hua na.. Mai nhi chahta ki koi galat faimi rahe.. Koi misunderstanding rahe.. Maa ne jo aap logo se kaha wo sahi tha.. Mujhe diamond sach me nhi chalta.. Agar priya mujhe ek raste se khareeda hua ring bhi de na.. Mujhe koi problem nahi hogi..
Sudheer: mai janta hu beta.. Ye ladki hai na.. Thodi si sanki hai.. Isse maaf kar do.. Please..
Ram: arre nahi papa.. Aap ko maafi mangne ki koi zarurat nhi hai.. Please..
Priya went to her room and ram followed her..
Priya: wo.. Im sorry... Mujhe aise nahi kehna chaiye tha.. Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye..
Ram: its ok.. Par remember.. The next time u tell me against my family, mujhse bura koi nhi hoga..
Priya: promise nahi bolungi..
Sudheer called them out.. Priya went to the kitchen to help bua with dinner while ram and sudheer settled for a drink..
Ram refused.. But sudheer would not let him go.. So finally ram had to say a yes.. In sometime.. Priya came out with the dinner.. And she smiled looking at them.. Sudheer was sleeping.. His head on ram's lap.. And ram sleeping resting his head on the sofa..
She went in and bought out a blanket.. Covering both of them...
The next morning.. Ram reached kapoor mansion..
Ram: maa... Good morning n good night..
Kk: ram.. Ram ruk.. Kha tha saari raat? Shaadi k baad kya priya ko bhi chod ke aise hi raat bhar chqla jayega??
Ram: arre meri maa... Mai saari raat priya ke sath hi tha...
Kk: kya? Priya ke satth?? Par.. Hmm.. Khir.. Theek hai.. Ab toh tum dno shaadi kar rahe ho.. Par shaadi tak ruk jate toh.. Nahi jane de.. Jo ho gaya..
Ram: maa.. Bas.. Arre kitna sochti ho tum.. Priya ke sath tha matlab waise nhi.. Mai sharma house m tha.. Papa bua sab thhe... Kya maa tum bhi..
Kk: acha acha.. Ok... Toh theek hai..

The same evening.. Ram had called priya to a park..
Priya: hi.. Ab kya hua??
Ram: kya hua matlab?
Priya: nahi wo.. Jab bhi hum milte hai.. Koi na koi point clear karne ke lie hoti hai yaa phir koi message dene ke lie.. Toh aaj..
Ram: arre aise koi baat nahi hai.. Maine socha rokha ho raha hai toh shopping bhi karni chaiye nahi.. Aur mera choice iss mamle ko chod ke har mamle m boht acchi h..
Priya: pata hai..
Ram: huh?
Priya: mai tumhari choice hu na.. Toh hui na tumhare choice acchi..
Ram: ab chale...
Both left for shopping... They had a great time that evening.. They made all the purchases and then went for dinner... Ram then dropped Priya home..

Soon.. The day of Rokha arrived... All the kapoors were ready to leave.. All except ram..
Bechara... He was all set and ready.. He looked at the mirror one last time and turned.. Unexpecredly, a small protruding nail on his bed, un noticed till date.. Came out od nowhere and hung to his kurta.. And.. Yaa right... The kurta tore off.. Ram was now in a fix.. He never wore kurta's.. So he didnt have another one to change into... He rocked his cupboard and managed to find one.. Getting ready ASAP, he ran down to the hall..
Meanwhile.. At priya's place...
Sudheer ko pata nahi kya hua.. He started making pakodas.. For everyone.. Priya got ready and cme out... Sudheer kept looking at his darling daughter.. She was about to bow down to touch his feet when he stopped her by holding her shoulder...
Oopsie... The damage was done... Priya's brand bew saree.. Ram's selection for her was now adorned by some aata...

The kapoors finally arrived... Ram and Priya were made to sit next to each other...
Ram: priya.. Ye wo saari nhi h na jo hum ne khareedi thi..
Priya: waise aap ko nhi lagta k ye kurta thoda sa toght h..
Ram: nahi.. Acchi h sari tumhari.. Bas aise hi puch raha tha..

Kk then bought out a red odhni and put it over priyas head.. Phir kya.. Thoda rasm thoda riwaz... ( i dunnk what happens exactly.. Im a south indian.. Never seen a punjabi funjabi wedding.. So cutting it out..)

Meanwhile.. Priya's friends arrived to.. Harish came in tagging along..
He was wearing black as if protesting the happenings.. He stood in a corner.. Crying.. When bansi kaka came to him..
BK: bhai..aap yha khade ro kyu rhe h?? Arre rokhe m ye haal h toh shadi m kya hoga?? Mai samaj sakta hu.. Pyar na.. Aisa hi hota h.. Waise aap ke aur priya madam ke beech me ka h?? Bhai bhn ka na.. Meri bhi behn h..
Harish.. Bechara.. Ye sab sunke uska kya haal hua hoga... Bhaag gaya udr se...
Finally it was time to exchange rings..
Priya bought out the ring and squeezed it into Ram's hand.. Poor Ram winced in pain.. Nevertheless.. It fit in.. Ram got out the ring he had purchased and was about to put it into priya's finger when dAai suddenly shouted... GOLU PUTTAR!! In excitement..
Ram fumbled and the ring slipped off his grip and lost itself in the crowd.. It silently rolled over to harish who placed his foot on it so as to hide it.. The whole lot of people were now looking for the ring.. Harish stood silent in a corner.. A kid suddenly pushed him and he was about to fall when somebody noticed the ring under his feet.. So finally discovered.. It was handed back to ram.. He then held on to Priya's hand and placed it delicately on her finger...
All ceremonies done, all fun over.. The kapoors finally returned home..
Priya was sitting at her window, playing with the ring and caressing it when her phone rang..
Priya rushed to pick it up..
Priya: hi ram..
Ram: arre wah!! Kaise pata ki mai hu?

Priya: huh.. Uh.. Wo.. Wo kya hai na.. Mere phone me caller id hai.. Number bhi stored hai.. Toh pata toh chalega hi na..
Ram: accha achha.. Mujhe laga k.. Chodo.. Kya kar rahi ho?
Priya: aap ke bare me soch rahi thi.. Uh.. Matlab.. Ye ke.. Mujhe kuch ajeeb sa lag raha hai..
Ram: mujhe bhi.. Dekho na.. Kuch din pehle hum ek dusre ko jante b nhi the.. Par kuch dino baad humara naam ek dusre se jud jayega.. Jha jayenge sath jayenge..
Priya: hehe.. Aur pata hai mai aap ko introduce kaise karungi.. Mere wo hai na.. Boht rolu polu se hai.. Bilkul polar bear ki trh..par kya architect hai.. Kya designs hote hai unke!
Ram: hahaha bas yaar.. Mujhe polar bear mat bulao.. Itna bura bhi nhi hu..
Priya: arre maine kab bola bure hai.. Mujhe toh polar bears cute lagte hai... And as soon as she sd that.. She bit her tongue.. There was a silence for a minute..
Ram: pata hai mai kaise intro dunga tumhara.. Ye hai meri wife.. Priya kapoor.. Oxford grad hai.. Thodi si nakchadi hai.. Par boht acchi painting karti hai.. Im a fan of her landscapes..
Priya: aap ko kaise pata mai landscapes paint karti hu?
Ram: priya tumhe mai andha lagta hu kya?? Uss din toh tumhare room me aya tha.. Tab deka... I love them..
Priya: thanks Ram..
They continued talking to each other for hours.. Finally subh ho gayi and they had both dozed off talking to each other over the phone.. Their phones still glued to their ears..

Preparations for shaadi.. Dadi has a plan to canvince RaYa...
