Part-6 Flashback V:

The door bell rings. He was about to move to open the door. Priya stops him by holding his hand.

Priya: Aapko sambhalna char baccho ko sambhalney jaisa hai. (She wipes up his sweat; lipstick on his mouth…corrects his hair.)Don't worry Ram; you & two more will be fine. (Winking at him, teasingly)

Ram opens the main door. (Safety grill door is yet shut) He finds a lady holding a cute kid standing at the door. (The lady stays at the next door to Sharma's) The kid is 3- 3.5 yrs old, absolutely cute but looks like cried a lot before a while. The little one is still sobbing.

Mrs. Nayak: Priya hai?(Feeling awkward after seeing Mr. Kapoor. Priya is already coming to see who is there?)

Ram: Haaa, Priya… (Looking at Priya moves back from the door)

Priya: Aree, kya hua? 'Meetko' kisney rulaya? (Starts to open the safety door)

Mrs. Nayak:Priya-auntyke pass jaana hai, karkey itna roya, Priya yeh bahot ziddi ho gaya hai. Chalo abb auntyko mil liya toh chaltey hai, auntyke ghar guest aaye hai. (Mrs. Nayak is feeling still awkward that she has disturbed the couple)

But after hearing 'chalo ghar chaltey hai' the smart little one clings to the grill door tightly like monkey.

Mrs. Nayak: (Tries to hold him back) Shaitan, ruko toh…

Priya: (Holds him & smiles at his cuteness) Chalo auntyke pass aao.

This kid loves his Priya-aunty since he was a year old. He used to come to Sharma's before Priya got married. Priya also loves him & likes to spend the time with him whenever she comes to her father's place. She is doing that since last two days.

Finally he frees his hands & jumps into Priya's arms.

Mrs. Nayak: Priya tumbhi na iski har baat sunti ho, mai abhi lekay jaati hun. (Gets irritated with Meet's stubbornness)

Priya: Nahi, theek hai na, rahenay dijiye na. Main thodi der mai le aati hun. (Assures her that there is 'No Problem' with her affectionate smile)

Mrs. Nayak: Sorry ha Priya tumhey disturb kiya.Dekho abb kaise muskura raha hai 'Priya aunty mili toh'.

Priya: Arre aap sorry kyon bol rahi ho. Maibhi soch rahi thi kay aaj 'Meet' kyon nahi aaya.

Mrs. Nayak: Tumharery jaaney kay baad bahot miss karega tumhey.

Priya: Miss toh maibhi karungi.

Mrs. Nayak leaves.

Ram is looking at Priya who is now talking (blabbering) with Meet. Meet is holding a toy car (Ferrari) in hand & having a cute smile with dimples adoring his both the cheeks.

She comes there where Ram is sitting & seats besides him with Meet.

Priya: Uncle se 'Shake-hand' karo. (Takes Meet's little hand in her hand & forwards towards Ram)

Ram: (Moves the hand forward) Hello…

They make a handshake. The little one coughs, he was sobbing before, it resulted in runny nose. Priya takes the hanky & starts cleaning it without hesitation.

Ram: (Making disgusting face shouts) Yeh tum kya kar rahi ho?

Priya: Bacche ki naak saaf kar rahi hun (Busy in doing that)

Ram: Haa woh toh mujhebhi pata hai, par tumhey ajeeb ya kuch. (Still doesn't believe it)

Priya: Kharab nahi laggta hai na? Nahi mujhe nahi laggta hai. Bacchahe toh hai. (Calmly)

Ram: Haa, par tumhara khud ka thodi na hai?Abb mujhe samjha yeh baccha tumharey pass aaney ke liye kyon ro raha tha itna.

Priya: Kya samjha aapko?

Ram: Yahi ke tum issey 'apaney bacche' ki tarah pyar karati ho. (Smiles at her)

Priya: Haa…arrey maine kitchenmai kuch rakha hai, bhool gayi (Runs to the kitchen)

The kid is playing with his car & Ram is looking at him.

Ram: Yeh car aapki hai? (Looking at the toy)

Meet: Haa. Meray pass BMW bhi hai, airoplane bhi hai, army tank bhi hain. (The kid speaks all excitedly)

Ram: Accha meray pass toh kuch bhi nahi hai. (Making the sad face)

Meet: (Laughs looking at Ram) Mai aunty ko ghoomaney le jaunga Ferrari mai. Aapko nahi.

'Meet' runs to Priya.

Ram: Priya, tum aa rahi ho na aaj meray saath ghar?

Priya: Aana toh chahti hun par aaj raat ko humney 'Kulfi' khaney ka plan kiya hai.Ayesha mili nahi hai mujhe theek se.

Ram: Mai kal business tour kay liye Dubai jaa raha hun 1 week kay liye.

Priya: Yeh baat aap mujhe abb bata rahey hai. (Shouts, Talking with Meet in between) Beta! uncle kay saath khelo aap.

Meet comes back to Ram, runs his Ferrai on sofa & then starts to run it on Ram's hands.

Ram: Tum ready rehena sham ko driver car lekay aayega. Mujhe ek conference attend karney jaana hai abb. Hum dono shamko miltey hain.

'Meet moves the car now on Ram's stomach.

Priya: Aap peheley nahi kahey saktey thai? (Sad that Ram would be not there for whole week)

Ram picks up Meet & Meet sats on Ram's stomach, still running the car on his hand.

Ram: Oye, aapki gaadi ka petrol khatam nahi hota hain kya?

Meet: (Showing him the car) Yahanpe petrol daalney ka…( again pointing at ram's hand) yeh road hai.

Ram: Kya kahey rahey thai aap 'Aunty' aur aap jayengay Ferrari drive kay liye, par autnyko toh aaj mai le jaunga apnay saath. (Didn't say it intentionally but it hurts the kid)

He starts hitting with his car to Ram.

Meet: Nahi, aunty nahi jayegi. (Gets more aggressive)

Ram: Oouch, mat maaro…pehelwan(But taking his hits on chest, hand by his toy car)

Meanwhile Priya comes & sees though its toy it must be hurting him.

Priya: Meet, beta uncle ko lag raha hoga! (Shouts at him)

The kid starts crying. He doesn't like that his aunty shouted at him.

Ram: Arre Priya tum bhi kamal karti ho bacche ko rula diya. (Starts consoling him)

Priya: I am sorry beta. Kaan pakadke 'SORRY.' (Takes him to her lap)

Ram: Priya pata hain Meet tumhey Ferrari drivepe le jaaneywala hain. (Winks at her)

Priya: (Excitingly) Haa Meet, mujhe toh patahe nahi tha. (Makes sad face)

'Meet' becomes happy after hearing this conversation.

Ram: Aur mujhe toh nahi lenaywala apni gaadi main. Main toh akela rahein jaunga. (Makes puppy face)

The kid enjoys it & bursts into laugh.

Meet: Uncle ko yeh bhi nahi samjhta hain ke meri gaadi kitni chhoti hai. (Giggling) Main toh jhooth bol raha tha aapse. (Caressing Ram's huge hand with his little hand with affection)

Three of them start laughing. 'Meet' is sitting in Priya's lap & Ram caressing Meet's head by his hand.

Priya: Meet, show us your eyes?

The little one blinks both the eyes.

Priya: Very good, nose?

Puts his finger on his nose & acts like sniffing something.

Priya: Good, lips?

He pouts out his lips. Ram is looking this with his warm smile, admiring the bond between Priya –Meet.

After sometime the kids falls asleep there. Priya gets up to go to Meet's home.

Ram: Kitna pyara lagg raha hain yeh neend main (Touches Meet's cheek by his finger softly)

Priya: Aapbhi aise he laggtey ho (Talking in low voice)

Ram: Maine socha, tum cute laggti ho neend main.

Both share a laugh.

Priya: Dheerey, mai aati hun. (About to leave Meet sleeping in her arms)

Ram: Priya ek minute. (Softly kisses Meet's forehead) Abb theek hai.

Priya smiles softly. She comes back from Meet's place. Ram's sitting on the sofa, one hand stretched on backrest of the sofa, Priya seats besides him resting her head on his stretched arm. They seat like that quietly. After some time

Ram: Priya…(Softly)

Priya: Huhhh..

Ram: Ek baat kahu tumse..

Priya: Haa, kahiye na…

Ram: Tum bahot pyaari lagg rahi thi, jab Meet tumharey pass soya tha. (Kisses softly on her forehead)

Priya: Aap bhi bade acche lagg rahein thai jab Meet aap ko maar raha tha aur aap usske saath khel rahein thai. (Kisses softly on his chest where Meet had hit him before)

Ram: Mujhe aaj ek ehsaas hua hain. (Looking into her eyes)

Priya: Kya ehsaas hua hain? (Looking into his eyes)

Ram: Meet aur tumhrey saath aaj mainey jo pal beetaye, unki wajahse mujhe yeh mehsoos hua.

Priya: Huhh…

Ram: Ek bacche ke saath beetaye huye kuch pal itani khushi de saktey hai toh agar humari jindagi main jabb baccha aayega tabb jindagi kitani khubsurat ho sakti hain.( Speaks with gleaming eyes)

Priya: Main bhi jabb aapko Meet ke saath dekh rahi thi toh ek alagsi khushi mujhe ho rahi thi. Aap usskey saath baccha banker khel rahein thai. (Speaks excitingly & rests her head on his chest)

Ram: Sirf Daadi ke wish puri karney ke liye nahi par main dilse Papa banna chahta hu abb.

(Breaths deeply)

Priya: Main aaj bahot khush hun, aapko yeh sab baatein mehsoos karkey, sochtey huey dekhkar.

They kept talking & falls asleep seating in sofa, dreaming about their kids.
