PART 18 –

Its Rahul and Chavi's engagement day…

Neha and Priya have come early so that they could help Chavi in getting ready…

Priya and Neha enters Chavi's room…

Chavi – aa gaye aap dono…

Priya – are how did you know…

Chavi – Priya I can sense it if someone is around me….

Priya – ok….chalo we need to dress you up for the function…maa has given this responsibilty to us…

Neha – maa….she says while smiling…

Priya – I mean….aunty….

Neha and Chavi try to hide their smile…

Priya and Neha help Chavi in dressing up….

She was looking beautiful in red saree….she was wearing very less jewellery as she didn't like jewelleries much….

Priya – Chavi you look like a princess….

Neha- ya…aaj to Rahul tumhe dekhta hi reh jayega….

Chavi blushes…

Then Priya moves downstairs to find Ram….

She spots him with Vik…

They were talking about something…..

She was about to call out Ram when she hears some part of their convo….

Vik – tujhe Priya kaisi lagati hai na…..

Ram – are vik ye kaisa sawal hai…

Vik – arre m asking casually…..mujhe to wo "jhalli" lagati hai..

Ram – stop it yar vikram….i know wo jhalli hai…..but that is the thing that makes her different….wo baki ladkiyo ki tarah nahi hai…uska dil bahut saaf hai…..every guy wants a girl jo plastic doll jaisi ho….but Priya jiski kismat mein likhi hai na that guy will be the luckiest in the world …you know why coz there is no one like Priya…

Vik smiles…

Vik- do you love her…

Ram – I didn't say that…

Vik – you didn't even deny that….

Ram – aa….bbb…..wo….haan maa coming….he pretends as if his mom called him….vik maa is calling I need to go…

Vik – arre listen to me…..

But Ram goes away…

Vik smiles..

Vik - *to himself* at last somewhere or the other you are accepting your feelings Ram…I hope you tell it to Priya before its late…hey bhagwan give my golu friend some brain…

Priya goes upstairs….

She stands infront of the mirror and looks at herself from head to toe…

Priya – tu sach me jhalli hai Priya…she starts biting her nails…But Priya since when has it started bothering you….you are like this since the very beginning then why today its bothering you…..ufff kya musibat hai...

"Cause earlier you didn't fell in love so cared the least about your looks and dressing ….but now you want to look the best for Ram…coz you have fallen for him"

Neha says as she enters the room and stands next to Priya….

Priya- what are you saying Neha….aisa kuch nahi hai…

Neha - come on Priya …kab tak khud se jhut bolegi?

Priya – neha you are misunderstanding….me and Ram are just good friends…

Neha – oh really….then why do you get so impatient when he does not responds your calls or texts?Why do you get restless when he talks to other girls? Why do you cry when he is upset and not talking to you? Priya Sharma THE PRIYA SHARMA….for how many friends have you cried till date? No one except for Ram…Priya stop lying to yourself atleast.

Priya doesn't know what to say….

All her memories with Ram flash infront of her eyes….

Neha – just close your eyes and ask yourself don't you love him ? Priya we find true love just once in our lives so plz apni is zid me tu Ram ko mat kho…

Before Neha could say anything further…Nih comes in….

Nih – are Priya you still aren't ready…beta chalo get ready….did Ram give you the dress he got for you for todays function ?

Priya – dress?

Nih – oh he must have forgotten…after he came from shopping I saw a bag with him ….when I asked he said it's a dress for you that he wanted to gift for todays function…

Priya remembers when they went to shopping..

Flash back…

Priya – ram you took so much of time….itna time lagta hai kya trial lene me…

Ram – wo actually….

Priya – whats in that bag?

Ram – woo,….its my sherwani in that and some other clothes…

Priya – hmm ok..

Ram – you didn't buy anything ?

Priya – no I don't like wearing all these kind of dresses…

Ram -*a lil sad* oh ok…you wear whatever you are comfortable in…

Flashback ends.

Nih – Priya…kya hua beta kaha khoyi ho…shayad Ram ne wo dress Chavi k cupboard me rakhi thi…

She takes the dress from the cupboard and hands it over to Priya…

Nih – aah…mil gayi…ye lo and get ready…sare mehman aane shuru ho gaye hai….

Saying this Niharika leaves…

Priya takes the dress out from the bag….

It was a simple yet beautiful suit of green and red colour….

Neha – I think I will also go downstairs now….

And she also leaves…

Priya – Ram ne mere liye ye dress kyu liya…ab liya hai to I should wear it…I am so stupid he would have felt so bad yesterday….but meri kya galti thi he should have told me that he has bought a dress foe me…ekdum pagal hai…

She moves towards the washroom with the dress…

In the hall everyone was enjoying themselves…..

Ram though was talking with the guests but his eyes were searching for Priya…

Niharika – Neha its time go and bring Chavi downstairs….

Rahul – me jake lao kya use aunty…

Niharika holds his ear….acchaa bahut jaldi hai….and what is this aunty call me maa from now on…

Rahul smiles…ok maata shree….

Neha goes upstairs and sees that Chavi and Priya are already heading down…she joins them….

Ram looks up at the stairs and was dumbstruck….he couldn't believe the sight ….

Priya was coming downstairs wearing that elegant dress he got for her and was looking divinely beautiful…

Her hair were resting on one shoulder…..as always she didn't put any makeup but the natural glow on her face was enough to attract anyone…..

she was on the last stair whe she lost her balance as wearing heels was not her cup of tea….but Ram held her firmly ….

Ram was lost in her …..

When Vik calls out…

Vik – Ram…Priya ko tu bad me bhi nihar sakta hai….filhal to yaha teri zarurat hai…

Everyone giggles…

Ram leaves Priya with a shy smile…..and moves towards where Chavi and Niharika were standing…

Priya also moves towards them cautiously so that she doesn't loose her balance again…

The engagement ceremony starts and Chavi Rahul exchange rings…..everyone applauds and shower the couple with flowers followed by gifts….

Ram was all the while looking at Priya…

All were busy enjoying when Ram goes towards Priya…

Ram – ahem…ahem…

Priya turns to look at him…

Priya – kya ? she says with a confused look…

Ram smiles….

Ram – kuch nahi….bahut sundar lag rahi ho….

Priya – thank you….tum bhi kuch kam kamal nahi lag rahe…by the way gift is bought to be given not to be hidden….

Ram scratches his head….

Ram – wo….i thought you wont like it….

Priya – who are you to decide it…..*raises her eyebrow*

Ram – am sorry……flaunts his cute smile…

Priya – you ought to be……she says teasing him….

There is a silence between them….

Both knew that something has changed between them..their feelings for each other were now different…but both hesitated thinking what if the other doesn't feel so…

Ram was to break the silence whn Vik comes…

Vik – Ram..am sorry to disturb you but bahut zaruri baat….come with me…

Ram – ok..he gives Priya a helpless look and goes with Vik…

Ram – kya hua vik…kya baat hai…

Vik – just wait….

He takes him to a room where all guys were gathered….

Ram – whats going on…

Vik – ok as we all know now one moe guy is going to get tied up in a chain called marriage….so why not celebrate his last few days of bachelorhood?

Rahul is confused and so is Ram…

Vik – we are having a bachelor party tomorrow….waht say guys…

The other guys hoot and scream in approval of the idea…

Rahul – but..

Vik – no but what….its all final…kal ayega maza…and his face shows a grin..

PRECAP – Bachelors' party…!!!!!!!
