I wont be able to single out one particular actor here--all the actors had equal footage and all were good.

1.Priya-As you said,her no nonsense attitude with Ashwin and the nieghbor,her cheering up of Kartik,her scene with Vikram.Sakshi was good and powerful as usual.

2.Ram-was good he did finally question Nuts-corrected his wrongs,,his geniune apology to Kartik..the best scene was when he is silently contemplating his separation with Priya--Ram Kapoor the actor was good here--very subtle and effective scene for me.

3.Kartik-Mohit gets a chance to emote here and as you said he really did very well..his disgust and displeasure towards Nuts and Ram..his venting out of his frustration to Priya.

4.Nuts-She was good in her scene with her mom-sumona did a good job confronting Nih here.

5.Niharika--Eva at her viscous best..she did look like a sophisticated female don in her scene with Nuts..

Overall a balanced episode in terms of characters..

I totally agree with you Chitra didi...Karthik's reaction was very apt...Priya's consoling scene was also nice...she is the perfect elder sister to Karthik and took care of him more than his mother did...

Every actor is playing their role well. The reason why I felt special about Karthik's character was he had been shown as a dumb person. Finally he was given to play a role and he excelled in it.

after seeing the pre cap yesterday i am hoping that there is some kind of attempt made by natasha to right the wrongs that haveoccurredin her name. Karthik is the perfect answer to so many of the issues in the show-

1. He is in the know about Niharika's doing and if he were to talk to Ram about it - after a few days of cooling down - maybe Ram will start thinking again about Priya's "pallu chodo" remark. I am not saying he will believe him but he will be forced to think about it.

2. Revitalizing Natasha's and Karthik's relationship will throw the argument that Priya made about hers and Ram's marriage being dependent upon Karthik and Natasha's marriage I hope the CVs utilize this opportunity to mend what is happening or we are surely looking at a leap
