He has been manipulated in such a way that he won't believe anything Priya or anyone says until they have solid proof against them. He has blind faith on them. I mean for years he has living with them. He has been allowing them to control each and every move. It will take some time but I am sure that he will realise the truth for good.
Remember when Ram found out about Sid stealing the necklace he did shout at him and did appologise to Vikram. I am sure that once he finds out about his family he will appologise to Priya and her family and will finally realise to never trust his family.
