Angie,We think alike on so many things in the show...I'm a feminist at heart and hate when women are portrayed as silly brainless creatures whose place is either in the bedroom or the kitchen...Like women who are smart, witty , intelligent who would stand up against anyone who belittles them or treats them as dirt...Also don't like it when men are portrayed as silly dumb creatures and no respect is given to their feelings...Women can vocalise their feelings but men hide their emo for fear of being laughed at or disrespected.Saying a sorry doesn't lower the esteem of both men and women.

Well written.. Your take hits bang on the nail what I wanted to say..
My only wish was Ram could have said more of his mind and heart.. (I will make a separate topic about it).. But otherwise, it was beautifully executed..
This was the best consummation scene in the Indian Television Industry,. Hands down. There were no camera works or no sleazy skin show. It aesthetically captured the se***l tensions between a middle aged couple who were experiencing these emotions for the first time. The lighting was perfect. No dimmed lights to keep us guessing. The song selection was bang on. Lyrics and music just made the whole experience better. The expressions were superb making it hard to believe it was fiction. It was pure love and their bodies reacted to their partners touch and the rest was magic. They kept the character of Ram to be the gentleman who waited for his wife's nod of acceptance to take the relationship to the next level. Those eyes were always watchful of Priya's expressions taking care to not scare or hurt her. Priya took the cue and did not hesitate to take charge when required. She made sure to send the message of being completely ok and the mutual consent was always present! Hats off to the whole crew to maintain and beat the hype they created with a 30 sec promo.
Yes agree it was one of a kind C night episode, justifed to be at 10.30pm slot..

The days have changed, nights have changed, conversations changed, the mode of life has changed. In the intimacy/companionship of these moments, there are some pure relationships. The angels are reiterating the spiritual song of love. The lyrics render the meaning of their new found relationship beautifully!

Have read your analysis twice, watched the episode twice and still not in mood to reply to the post. I am in RAYAland, dont want to waste energy thinking about what to reply. Lets talk tomorrow Angie, I need time to come out of the whole episode WOW

Kudos to Ram, Sakshi, CVs, and the camera person, AMAZING !!!!

ps: please no stars today but here is something:

yuh hi kuch aur pal jee lene do is ehsaas mein,
kuch aur kho lene do hame inke pyaar mein.

Is tarah pyar ka izhaar dhika gaye ye aaj,
Ki kho gaye hum bhi guzre hue zamano mein !

Lovely post,u couln't have put it any better...the episode was shot so aesthetically and beautifully excecuted with Ram and Priya doing a marvellous job. They both just seem so at comfort and at ease with one another thus, giving us this electrifying chemistry between a mature couple.I am still reeling from that kiss as I really did not expect to see that shown on Indian TV...absolutely loved it though as everything was done in such a sublte, serene and tender way.The cherry on the cake was getting a whole episode dedicated to their c night, couldn't have asked for more,Sakshi and Ram totally rocked the scene and these two sure have given the young guns a run for their money!

RK's expressions when she goes to the window were just awww...
the way he closed his eyes, his sigh. he was actually enjoying his wife's shy expressions and also seemed to be desperate for her. wow! the way he nodded his head to one side by closing his eyes was just too ood to be true. how can i even think it was just acting. and kudos for the daring liplock. i enjoyed it. it is what happens in between a married couple. those who find it too bold are hpocrites in my idea
