Glad to know a fellow member studying and researching with petri dishes and killing cells.. I too was a student of molecular genetics, rather molecular biology before switching to something radically different, that has changed my career and profession..

I vividly remember your comments for Vasu's daily dose posts of each and every episode and Shrusti's Hey Ram posts..The episodes were always roller coaster rides week after week, initially..Those days BALH was flooded by LTL members who slowly went in different directions.

But glad that you have made a comeback as Viewbie here, even though your interest in BALH has drasticlly waned..But it helps to keep the forum in check as neutral observer in a dispassionate manner.An objective mind is the best for such a position..

Good to see your genuine answers that has almost made you the Saathi of this forum. A rare honor for someone from DT to take time out and spend more time sharing and revealing a bit about yourself..

Since the new Mod and DT have come about here, things are really more alive and activity levels are up..New members, consistantly good posts and comments, great discussions, balanced negatives and positives have all improved BALH forum very much..

On a personal noter thanks for all your efforts.. A small request.. Organise more such contests and also help to open a separate chat thread( where our friends and fellow BALHians can chat more freely and many things other than BALH)

I worked more with cells than I did with bacteria but I know what oyu mean about killing cells - although in my case it's purely unintentionally. 😆I'm glad you enjoyed my replies and I'm really thankful for your kind words. The forum was pretty much active on its own and I just did what little I could to help shape the discussion topics a bit. The rest though is all due to the members - I'd hate to take credit for that. 😳 I'll try to organize more contests and such as time permits but we already have a chat thread that's become active again which is nice to see. 😳😊

And as far as being a Saathi of the forum is concerned, I'm overwhelmed by the response I've gotten from the members. So thank you all for that. I'm not sure I deserve it but I'll definitely do my best to do my part with honesty. And of course I'm open to any criticism and suggestions as needed. 😊

who promotes a member to the DT team..what are the qualities and factors that are looked into?Again a detailed answer😛

and yes soon im going to shoot 1001 auspicious descriptive questions at you!!! Those ppl troubled me too much..so now im going to vent out my entire frustration at you😆😆..so be ready!

I think the following thread covers the whole issue around the DT promotions in quite a lot of detail. I think the "suggestions" for promotions can be made by anyone in the DT or even regular members, but the admins have the final say at all times. 😳😊
