Absolutely right about the street vendor food! There is no comparison. My dad used to say it tastes so good, because the vendor doesn't wash his hands like mom does at home 😆.

I miss Pani puri the most. But Bhutta , now that you remind me, is certainly on the list too.

Do you cook?

If so, are you a good cook?

Lol! I am not sure WHAT makes the food taste better at the street vendor's but it just does! And it's so much fun too.. 😆😆

I don't cook regularly at all. I know how to feed myself or someone else if needed, but I don't enjoy cooking at all. If it wouldn't be for my mom, I'd be living off of take out. 😳 I can assemble furniture and fix electronics though.. *hopes that helps redeem her* 😳😆😆

I have a Pakistani friend who cooks like a pro. and the sweets and samosas he makes are out of this world.

You said you were working on your second degree. what are those 2 degrees?

Home cooking does matter but for whatever lame reason I just can't feel motivated enough to do much of it. When my mom went back home for a couple of months, I did end up cooking meals for the whole family every day. But I'd much rather NOT do it.. *totally unmotivated lazy muh* 😆😆

I already have a B.S. in Chemistry and I'm getting another in Molecular Genetics Technology at the moment. 😊

Thanks Fivr for taking the time out 😊

Personal questions...will come back later...after I read through answers you've already given...

May I ask something about this forum?

How does it operate?
How do you enter this forum?
Who actually manages it...I mean, from the top?
Are there some guidelines given as to how you need to run this forum?
If you were watching BAHL, would you be allowed to take sides in a post? I mean...as a human...vis a vis as an admin?
Are these records (posts etc) maintained forever or till a show is aired...?
Do you have access to any scoop news on these serials?
Apart from normal fb and twitter, is there any way you can put your message across to the producers or directors of any serial?
How important or how praiseworthy is IF?

Actually, this is the 1st serial which has me hooked and I've joined IF also very very recently...so have a lot of curiosity about how this stuff works...

Not a problem at all. I guess, it's the least that I could do. 😳😊

Personal questions...will come back later...after I read through answers you've already given...

May I ask something about this forum?

How does it operate?

Umm.. I guess simply but, the operation of the forum depends on the members of the forum. The threads/topics posted by members are what define the discussion of the forum. And all we do as the development team is to make sure that things run smoothly and that we can keep the forum entertained and amicable at the same time. 😳😊

How do you enter this forum?

I am afraid that I may come off as a smart alec here, but I am not quite sure of the question.. 😳 How do I enter the forum..? You mean how I come to visit it every day? Our links to the forum are the same as the rest of the members.. So I guess I am able to visit the forum same as everyone else.. 😳😊

Who actually manages it...I mean, from the top?

It really isn't a one person effort at all. It's more of a group effort where everyone plays a part. Jyoti and I are involved on a more day to day basis in the forum but the rest of the Global Moderators and Admins are always available to help/assist/guide us as and when needed. But I guess if you did need to pick one person, I'd say it would be Vijay (the site admin) who is in charge of it all. 😳😊

Are there some guidelines given as to how you need to run this forum?

Umm.. I don't think there was an actual set of guidelines given to us but I believe that when someone does get promoted to DT, it is understood that their behavior on a regular basis would be one that demonstrates tolerance and patience and that they can organize the forum in a timely and responsible manner. And of course being fair and unbiased is a very big quality that I personally demand of myself as a DT member. 😊 But there isn't a bullet point list per say for each individual forum. The rules that apply to the members also apply to us and then some.

If you were watching BAHL, would you be allowed to take sides in a post? I mean...as a human...vis a vis as an admin?

Absolutely! Just because I am part of the DT does not mean that I shouldn't be able to express my opinions regarding something. But again, there is a way to express those thoughts and the burden falls more on us when we are in a position of authority to make sure we maintain proper behavior. Personally, I always participate in forums of the shows that I watch, regardless of whether or not I am part of the DT there. And I can assure you that so do all the other moderators/DT members for all the other shows/forums. 😳😊

Are these records (posts etc) maintained forever or till a show is aired...?

These threads are available in a forum for as long as the forum is up.. If the forum closes, then the threads close and you can't post a reply in them but you can still see the previous posts made. Also, if your ID gets banned (or if you request for it to be banned) then the text of your previous posts get blocked out. But unless we delete a post for improper content, it's usually available on IF for good once it's posted.

Do you have access to any scoop news on these serials?

Lol! Not me personally, but I'm sure there are certain members (who just happen to be DT members too) who live in India who know people who may know people from the sets so they get those scoops. But again, that's not something IF related but rather a personal perk, if I may say so. 😊

Apart from normal fb and twitter, is there any way you can put your message across to the producers or directors of any serial?

Umm.. I wouldn't know of that. I mean, there isn't some way to really do it THROUGH IF per say. But I know members contact the SBB and SBS shows and other interview/news based shows to get their message across to actors/directors/channels.

How important or how praiseworthy is IF?

I'm sure that's a personal opinion and it must vary from person to person.. But I guess as a site it is a pretty good place because it gives us the opportunity to interact with people with similar likes and dislikes and discuss our favorite shows. Sure, it has some qualities that can be improved upon but I'm sure it's a work in progress and it will only get better with time.

Actually, this is the 1st serial which has me hooked and I've joined IF also very very recently...so have a lot of curiosity about how this stuff works...
