aray why are you blaming the acotrs and callnig hem characterless? that is unfair!!! a simple kiss which was done by camera is now in mostly all indian shows, bollyowod. whatever be your views pls dnt insult actors by calling them characterless.

angie, mods dont delete nay topic rather if there are similar topics in different threads they merge it in the one with most comments.

fro me it seemed to be pretty dcently shot so no issues. 😊

Please get your facts right. They didn't smooch. Its an illusion.
Smooching is not allowed on Indian tv upto 11 pm. People have some reservations as to what is shown and Censor board is there to take care of that.

Please refrain from using comments such as characterless against the actors. THe character they play is different. Don't confuse between the two.

And you called her characterless? Excuse me, Sakshi Tanwar is the most dignified person I have seen on TV. She is very private, graceful and humble. See her interviews or read what her co-stars have to say about her.
Get a reality check before making such atrocious comments against actors!

Dis threads discussion has gone far beyond fr my actual purpose.. I was hoping for all of ur opinion but u people commented as if it was view. N now discusion is approaching towards the character's selfrespect so i want to close dis topic.. No more discussion... N i request to fivr to close dis topic even though i have to debate against the plenty of blame given by u people for me.

i m not scared wid criticism that i got as far as those were upto the limit n related wid topic that i was looking for. Ya, felt little bit uneasy,upset when people hit on my selfrespect. Seriously, i had not thought that dis topic would bring such a huge mass participation. N thankx god there is not lot of info in my profile abt me otherwise comment might be even wrost than those 1-2 comments which r beyond my imagination n expectation.

Sorry that you feel attacked. I've not read all the comments (whew!) but most people who disagreed with you have done so respectfully. I disagree with you, but my comments were not personal! I'm glad to see that on balance dissent/differing views are being handled in a respectful way. There are always a few outliers, so don't let it affect you. 😊

I'm actually really glad you wrote what you felt. This is an open forum and all views and opinions are meant to be welcome.

A very interestig convo! I at first saw the c scene promo and was shocked at the detail of it because it seemed a bit too michhh just a tad! But then i thought of all the mayur and maneet scrnes i have scene and think jonestly its not that crazyy just a bit lesss family friendly. Thats the thing though indian tv has moved passed the old hubby and wife hug he sits her on be slowly fall down and then candle goes out an its mext day. Its become more modern and a level of maturity has to be present in the viewers mind. Hae to remember thts its acting and just a show thats depicting how things happen in real life with such things. Ao honestly i kinda dont mind such scenes anymore but still use discretion with family lol cause its a bit awkward sittin with your daddy an then pop goes the weasle rotfl!!!!

@Dilligurung

I am glad that you expressed your views on an important topic. This kind of discussion is good and fun to be a part of, even when people don't agree with each other's POV. It is sad that some people get personal.

I feel that it is OK to show scenes like this on TV, as long as shows are clearly rated and people know what to expect from a certain show.

I have a really big problem with Indian movies, because I am so used to american movies ratings. I know which shows and movies are OK for my children to watch and they only get to watch those. We also don't watch anything else, while they are around. But indian movies and shows do not have that system. And I see kids in india watching a lot of stuff that I wouldn't let my kids see. But then again, we also grew up watching movies with rape scenes etc. at a very young age. We turned out OK , So I suppose it is not as bad. 😉

I do also agree with you that in our culture, such scenes are uncomfortable even watching with other grownups.

My answer to this is not to ban such scenes, but to have a clearer, better system of ratings. That way you know what shows are OK to watch depending on your family situation.
