First time I felt something lacking Ram's acting capabilities today... or rather in his voice modulation.

When he spoke to Vikram on the phone, that was marvellous ! with the correct amount of sadness and sense of loss... in fact that was excellent..A++++++... but when he does the monologue whilst writing the letter...when he says... let me give her a gift...and usse kaise manau etc etc... there is no passion in his voice at all ! it is completely flat..there is no impact of the major emotional turmoil which both of them have just experienced...

Unless it was shot separately without Ram knowing where it was to be used, don't think it can be justified.

I thought it was a very important scene (the letter writing one) as it was Ram's first scene after the outburst...but sadly disappointed.

But going by our inherent faith in Ram & Sakshi's acting capabililities, I would tend to think that the CVs would have messed it up.

Did any one of you feel the same about that scene?

I agree with you completely. The gravity of the situation was completely lost. After everything the guy has been through in the last 2 or 3 days followed by the big bang declaration from Priya, we should have seen a little more intensity, or agitation or something.

That scene felt totally detached from the flow...I also felt that the intensity of feelings he should have been feeling was lacking in that scene (maybe priya's continuous lecturing had mentally drained him out😆) The only logical explanation I could come up is same as yours...that the scene was shot separately. I know that Ram will shine again sometime soon...we can cut some slack for the most talented actors this time😃

Totally Agree with you Lolita. I felt the same. You are right. It seemed like they shot the audio before so did not know when it would be used. He did not sound like a man who was sad and broken who was trying to find ways to manoofying his wife.

Tone was totally different. You are right!

Probably they should have used it before the party when he was scratching his head for a confession. May be would have fit better!!

but if it did now.. It just multiplies my belief on how clueless he is with matters of the heart, Miles to go before pleasing a woman forget the confession!

i dont agree...as ram know that his intention ws not to hurt priya...as she came to know truth...she will also feel bad as he is now...so he is only focusing on how to confes his love & monify her...it was lovely & sweet...as he is new in love land...he have to take more lession for monyfy & confess his love.

I totally agree with all of you, I think they shot this scene before, Ram did not look sad, the whole scene was so disconnected, wonder how they missed tat I was very unhappy with that. He was so shaken and sad and suddenly the whole impact was gone, not at all good for his character. I really really hope that they work hard on his confession.As Angie says I am actually thinking now that there should be some separation between them, they both need a break, and good thinking, then the confession and the big C I really do not want them to rush now.. CVs please do not ruin Ram's character, today was total let down.. I am very unhappy with his dialogs and everything.. 🤔

Mem1... exactly... I mean his voice had so much passion in his brief conversation with Vikram... where did that just disappear? 😭

Somehow I feel they would have taken this shot earlier...before the party...when he was thinking of ways to propose...before he met up with Vikram...?
