Yes, that is what I was coming up with too...search results were full of this film and a fish recipe called patrani machi ...🤣

There were some other play titles listed under his name, but nothing about this one😔

And here I was thinking Google has all the answers😆 But I have full faith in the knowledge and resourcefulness of IF members😉...sooner or later some one will come up with the info...😃

even i want to know about patrani .

imtiaz patel and ekta kapoor are good friends and imtiaz patel writen many comedy shows for balaji telefilms in the past like hum paanch, padosan, captain house and one film also .

Oh wow!! Didn't know that!!! So maybe this explains what Maris had said about Ekta having read a play that she then adapted into a TV show...Aha...ab baji ghanti!! Thanks so much...

Now, if only some one can tell us the story of the play ...😆😆😆

But I do remember Ram saying in an interview once that EK was influenced by a play some years back and has adapted that and developed it herself. So I guess EKs company must have really taken in by that play. And just to be on the safe side, the credits seem to acknowledge this fact.

the other day even i noticed patrani thing and i wondered how come i didnt see this before

imtiaz patel hmm naam to suna hai but cant say

whatever it is me also say new fan of ram and sakshi

they portray some reality on to the character
