The arrival of this kleptomaniac Maammaa was horrible timing . Agree ,there's no need for this character's entry. There are enough weird ones already.

Basically , every supporting character so far has excess baggage and/or is eccentric in some way... even Vikram with his suspicious wife...we don't need another track to sidetrack the story!!

... Hope they realize that the show is hinged on Ram and Sakshi's talent,popularity,chemistry and their scripted love story... and not mess it up when the going is good 😡

I think klepto mama is here to sow the seeds of getting Ram & priya married in dumb blond Niharika's mind. Since she is too dumb to come up with the idea herself. If his appearance now will hasten Ram/Priya marriage I dont have anything against him. Hope after the wedding he goes & find some other hotels to rob.

He may cause a lot of rift
I feel that he may cause some rifts with Ram and his step brother and even may go to currput Natz mind as Ram sees Natz as his daughter ..

Here Priya may play an important role in binding the family !!

I agree that this character's entry seems unnecessary...but he might actually put the idea of Ram and Priya into Niharika's mind!

Plus. so far, he doesn;t seem evil - just one more nut in that family!

BTW, none of the "negative" characters are too negative in the typical hindi saas-bahu serial way...look at Shipra...she's loud, vulgar...but she does care for Priya.

The only exception so far is in Ram's family. Niharika does seem to be the only really vicious character - in not wanting Ram to marry. But she's also stupid. She's the one who's going to get this Ram Priya thing started because of her blurting out the "news" of his engagement to her in-laws.

I am hoping they don;t go the typical serial route with rifts and corrupting minds etc...

There was a link to Ram Kapoor's interview recently in which he said that he wanted to play the character realistically - Well here's hoping they keep the show real too!

The way Niharika said "Tum Ram Kapoor ka business San Francisco mein sambhalte ho" got me thinking as to what he was before Nihu's marriage.

Agree there are too many wierdos already in the show without another addition. Well as long as they add to the story & hasten RaYa's marriage, they can be overlooked.
