Years ago, it was Jassi jaisi koi nahi which changed the fate of Sony and made it the top channel in GECs. I wonder, BALH is going to play the same now!

Everytime a promising show commences its journey on Sony, I cross my finger but even that doesnt help... Frankly, I am tired of seeing tragic and untimely ends of all good shows on Sony - Bhaskar Bharti, Rishta.com,Mahi way to name a few... They didnt deserve what they got... so, I would be more scared that optimistic... but I am glad people here are holding optimism...

I dont think Sony will get lucky with this show. Sony will continue to remain a reality show specialist along with a CID specialist.

I agree with you Dancingdoll, that's the reason I usually stay away from Sony cause they do zero promotion of their show and then kill them before their time. I pray that it changes this time.

sony back then didn't have problem as jassi, kutumb, kkusum, kyph, koi dil mein hai, ghar ek mandir etc...had a class. they had better actors and storylines. and also the promotion for the shows were at #1. so many garba events within india and abroad...plus so many promos being aired. They also had award shows by sony as well which increased popularity among the audience. Also the creative channel head of sony during that time was the #1 person who made Sony popular!!

They should be brought back and sony should give YRF shows a chance to shine more often. give it in seasons or even weekends, but ending good shows can leads to a negative reputation for sony among the audience who was a fan during the 2000-2006 era for sony.

The balaji shows Betyaab and Pyaar ka bandhan started good, but lost story. Pyaar ka bandhan was good start and Betyaab was remake of kasutii. If sony aired balaji's youth based or perhaps mature stories with really classic actors like Hiten, Gauri, Smiriti, Sakshi, Ram, Neha, Iqbal, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ronit, Manoj Bhora, Tina, Hussian, Shweta, Nausheen, Anuj, Mona Singh, Manav Gohil, Shweta K. etc...its bound to bring the returning folks back. As the classic stars clicked with the audience.

These days veterans are returning with other shows and that too traditional however aren't having the trp needed. If balaji did have mix of modern/youth or even BALH type shows its a chance for sony to come back. DJ's should also have a chance to compete with balaji on the channel. Both competition always leads to better programming!

I'm not gonna keep my hope high or up for Sony with this show because they do not know how to Promote their on going show.

they only Promote the show when it's in the making not afterward so u never u know.

but if they Promote it well before and after it gone air not just Promoting it on TV alone with do it but send the two leads and other cast members out to Promote they might just hit the jackpot with this show big time.
