Oh I didn't know u follow PV 2 as well😳 My bad. Ihave been in active for quite a while now. Though exams are cancelled I still havn't started watching BRKD from where I left off😭 Blame it on the stupid power outages here. 😡 the lights go off and come on back on a 6 hrs schedule. I have pending FFs to finish and one to start. Can't do anything😡 😭 Don't worry I'll come permanently soon. 😃 And I will learn some Hindi words by the time I'm waiting.😉

No haven't been following PV2, meaning to, but no time from BRKD and other chores!😆 Once saw your post even before 1st epi started, think May 18th or something!

Oh i thought power outages were not a problem any more, sarrry😭

Due to Memorial long holiday here, will be away in a day or 2 thru June 2nd ... so sayonara all until then 😭😭

Actually Gurumaa Anandmurthi has been touring the USA and is going to be in my State 5 hr long drive with my GFs! Abs looking forward to that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, Lataji once said that whenever she heard Hemantda singing, it was like ek mandir ka pujari bhajan ga raha ho! Can one get a better compliment than that ?! 😭 Khushi ke ...

There's an interesting quote from the book that ~~

"Hemantda used to travel btw Bombay and Calcutta every day to make / sing Bangla songs. And thus became the best passenger of Indian Airlines, so much so that they called him the Daily Passenger on Indian Airlines!! 🤗 And guess what they awarded him? Two round trip tickets for him and his wife! 🥳❤️👍🏼

But unfortunately more than half of his listening audience understood only Hindi, and so by logic he must have been at least twice as good as the shockingly small list of his Hindi songs. But luckily being a very good MD, using minimal number of instruments, peaceful, sukoon dene waala music, and a good human being, he left many people with fond memories.. He is remembered as a simple, humble man, self-effacing to a fault."

Teri duniya se door, chale hoke majboor hamein yaad rakhna ! 👏👏👏 How did you even think of this song, much less most appropriate song cuz me bombay ki duniya se bahut door, saat samundar paar rehti hoon 😭😭 And that too because of "majboori".

I am shaking here looking at those pics of good ol' Bombay, gateway of india, chaupati area all the way thru marine drive. As God is my witness, this is abs the 1st time I am this nostalgic and obv you have something to do with that. 😃😃😃

There is a Sterling movie theater and right next to that theater is a khomcha wala where pav bhaji is supposedly THE BEST. Ragda pattice is the best at this sindhi restaurant in Colaba. Sev puri and bhel puri best in Chaupati. We used to go to only one booth whose specialty, other than chaupati sev puri and bhel puri, was a portion of his hair that he glued on his forehead, seriously, so that it will not budge an inch from its "location" ! 😃😃 Baad mein we would eat masala wala paan wrapped in silver varak (English?😕) 😭😭😭

Ye Raat Ye Chand duet .. so romantic with a hauntingly super music and the sweet Bekarar Karke Hame Yu Na jaiye I love this song and the melancholic Jaane Vo Kaise Log The !! He was the expert in creating hauntingly beautiful music. One of my fav and it has one of your favourites Kaka babu aka Rajesh Khanna. Kishore Kumar and Rajesh Khanna combination one of the most romantic combination

Ashu kudiye, me totally floored with your awesome taste of Indian songs, more so cuz they are 50-60-70a evergreen era of rich music, full of ek se badh ke ek sone ke naghme of Mannada, Hemantda from Jaal, Bees saal bad, pyaasa, Khamoshi ! Wow !! ⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️👏

At least half-a-dozen 50's movies of Hemantda's musical genius were Nagin, Anarkali, Anandmath, to name just 3. Then later in 60s he sang for OP Nayyar's classic opus "Sambandh". (can be an awesome number for upcoming Father's Day)

And your selections mindblowing from Anand, Mere Jeevan Saathi (MJS), Do Raaste and yes amazing Geeta Dutt's Waqt ne kiya for Waheedaji in Kaagaz ke phool. Just ultimate beautiful connection with hearts and souls and transporting us to a blissful, sukoon wala world. More we hear them, more we want to hear. This to me is the meaning of SUCCESS.
