I think he has been with Meera longer than with Nandini.

i think he was in love with Meera, however, he didnt marry her or introduce her to his family cuz he wanted to keep her away from how his family functions. and i think he was force into marrying someone else by his father, simply, because of the type of person his father is. I'm just wondering what forces Meera to come meet his family, something about that phone call. probably she's pregnant also????

yeah, just shooting some ideas in the air. but u never know with these serials. cuz after watching today's episode it appears that nanadi may lose her kid. :( so the only reason the father-in-law will accept meera, may be cuz she'll also be having his son's kid.

so far that's the only logical explanation I see here
