Babul Ka Aangan goes Bollywood ishtyle

Aastha, Rahil in Babul Ka Aangan Choote NaThe lure of Bollywood is quite difficult to resist. Say what you may, our writers finally resort back to the tried and tested formulas of Bollywood to make the serial soar up the TRP's. And the latest to draw inspiration from the time-tested formula of Bollywood romantic flicks is Babul Ka Aangan Choote Na.

That said that, we are fairly convinced that the writers of our tellyland actually had stars in their eyes and wanted to make inroads into Bollywood, but got kicked around for lack of creativity and ended up writing for small screen. Well, the end result is out there for all to see, isn't it?

Coming back to the latest 'borrAastha, Rahil in Babul Ka Aangan Choote Naowing' from Bollywood, we hear that the popular soap is now edging for a love triangle. So, our story line weaves in this manner…

The last we saw was Rahil Azmi in a split personality mode. But, cut to today's Rahil – he's looking hunkier and meatier than ever with his long locks off. But, he's still a recovering patient. And in love with Aastha because he sees his ex-lover in Aastha. Rahil's ex girlfriend was a courtesan and an Aastha look alike. She was brutally murdered and our love lorn hero still holds a flame for her.

What's in store for us is a lot of sappy chemistry Bollywood ishtyle where in an already married Aastha Aastha, Rahil in Babul Ka Aangan Choote Nais coerced by her family to play with the recovering patient's fantasies. And, if you are wondering if her husband has any say in this, then wonder not, because, poor man, he more or less, tows the line when it comes to his wife. Oh God, our writers need to look for alternate professions – probably, law. They can bring in so much of loopholes in a plain ordinary seeda saadha script.

We take back what we said earlier. Our Bollywood writers need to draw inspiration from our small screenwriters – because, adding masala to a simple love triangle is what our creative heads of daily soaps do best! And the little masala value always works…
