Itishree Singh kicks off 'Monday Blues'
by Vidhya Krishnan

It takes a while to kick-start the week for a lot of people and most experience the Monday blues. For our new column, 'Monday Blues', that we will do every week, we caught up with Itishree Singh to get her views on the subject.

Do you have Monday blues...?
Not at all! I love the day and rather feel very fresh on Mondays.

So how do you feel on a Monday?
I feel energetic and I think our weekly holidays need not necessarily be on Sundays; it could also be on Mondays. However it may be, I enjoy my work and only if your work is monotonous do you feel dull and tired. I am very passionate about my work, so I very rarely feel down.

What have you planned for the week?
I am just back from a holiday in Hong Kong. I have not yet decided as to what I will do since the strike still seems to be going on. My schedulers called me for shooting and I hopefully will get back to work as soon as possible this week. This two-week break is enough.

Three tips to beat Monday blues…
~ Enjoy what you do.
~ Everything is in your mind; prepare your mind and body for everything.
~ Explore and expect things at your work; look forward to positive things and take life as it comes to you.
