well Rakhie i too felt that shyam of BV is one of the best male characters on TV. but this is once upon a time story coz now shyam has no much to offer. i mean the character. so it's good vikrant left it. anyway the show BV is more about anandi & as fuzzy said i watch it for anandi's sakeš vikrant being there or not has no effect on meš btw vikrant being in BAVD is also right now ineffective as i don't watch it even for himš
i seriously agree that all the shows started on Imagine were innovative concept wise but later on the serials did no justice towards it's main theme. agree with rakhie about the serials mentioned. well devi was promoted as a story based on a true incident. that was what made me watch it but later on i just don't know what they did to the story. kashi was started off brilliantly right from episode one but later it seemed as if the story will go the Uttaran way of Colors, thankfully it didn't but then after the leap the serial was just a love triangleš²
same here... BAVD had been promoted as an emotional tale of a young midget girl. but amazingly instead of showing bharti's struggle in her campus life, all of a sudden the CVs jump into the marriage track. bharti was just 20 so what was the hurry for marriage. they could have easily shown her college life & then slowly jump into marriage & it wouldn't have looked as filler episodes. but nope! same goes in BBCG, sarika is just 19, then what's the hurry for marriage.
there's Colors channel that is raising voice against child marriage through BV & here is Imagine channel glorifying not child marriages but Early Marriages with examples like bharti, sarikaš”
