Such ironic twists of fate

I can't help but be slightly bemused at the irony at play in the current situations.

Raghu himself threatened Nikumb to not be seen around Yamini once the play is over...Nikumb retorted that nothing will change after the play vis a vis his equation with Yamini.

Cut to present day...Play is over...Nikumb-Yamini are a hit on-stage pair...fate totally took that out of their hands...and now Nikumb doesn't want to have anything to do with her...yet offer after offer asks that he reunite with Yamini for another play...

And Raghu...who never wanted to have anything to do with Nikumb after the play is also inevitably having to deal with people clamoring to see Nikumb-Yamini together again...

And sadly he also knows how to play Nikumb just right to make HIM seem like the person who is jealous of Yamini and doesn't want to work with such a superstar...but somewhere in the long run it's going to be Raghu who's plans will backfire on him no doubt...he was responsible for Yamini doing the play with Nikumb the first time and he will probably be responsible for the same happening a second time...lol


On a different note, that joke in Nikumb's column was my fav. portion of the epi.

Anu- I found the episode a little tiresome today- aisa lag raha tha that things have become so static and have got stuck at one point. I have given up hopes that Yamini will ever hit that 'realization' that what she did, albeit with good intentions, was wrong in Nikumb's eyes because of the kind of person he is, his principles and his creative vision as an artist. Nobody around her is 'wise' enough to see that anyways , so cant expect anybody else to give her that perspective! Apne aap se toh..dekh liya what she's capable of and how she is now being passively aggressive!

not watched last few Epi's so don't knw what happening but after reading ur post got some idea i will start watching show again after break now iam just drop in to say hi...😊 keep writing ur reviws i love reading them 😳 but really can't comment from mobile .. byeee

LOL Shalini, I'm in the middle somewhere...the show isn't tiresome fully for me yet...dunno what keeps me hanging on...despite Yamini's hilariously off the mark dreams...LOL that one cracked me up today...only in her dreams can Yamini imagine Nikumb speaking her viewpoint word for word..."ab play hit ho gaya hai toh aap toh sahi prove ho gayi" ...what bakwaas.

I think Nikumb will end up succumbing cuz of financial pressures only...bechara...

Yamini is stuck on her high horse...not an ounce of guilt even now...amazing...and she's going about following her father blindly again...seriously kahaan jaa raha hai yeh.

Mr. Misra kab aayenge aur humein apne gyaan bataayenge?😆

Well I do hope atleast.. just for one time they show that the play does happen but without Nikumb- as he has refused to be a part of it- and Yamini does it with some other team...and the play gets a lot of brickbats and criticism after that. Bas mere dil ko thodi thandak milegi.

They are building the pressure on Nikumb to maybe succumb due to financial issues finally..lets see..if he does end up working with yamini after all this and under what circumstances.

Waise did you guys notice that blooper jab Nikumbh is talking to this manager guy on the terrace and there is this very sudden change of background frame, while Nilumbh is standing there still? I dunno, made me laugh. 😆

I do like the amusing turn of events, though, just like you mentioned. It's funny how Raghu keeps wanting to just widen the rift between Yamini and Nikumbh and ends up being the reason why they constantly keep appearing in the same frame. 😆

And Nikumbh bechara... Woh jitna dur bhaagna chahe, utna he keeps finding himself at crossroads with Yamini. I can't help but smile. I was less frustrated today, maybe because my hopes were totally down and I thought things couldn't get worse. And well, I always enjoy Nikumbh-Raghu scenes. I loved his, "hum khush hai aur khush rehna bhi chahte hai!" Yeah, Raghu may play him well, considering that people think that he is jealous of Yamini, but Nikumbh is going to have the last laugh.

I loved the joke! Lol... Does that mean the writers recognize that Nikumbh's work as an artist was disrespected when Yamini changed the play and maybe, maybe Yamini will eventually get it? Considering it somehow reflects the pain of an artist that scrambles for a living while others walk away with what they do not deserve (the way Yamini twisted the play)? I dunno...Why did Yamini go bhaagi bhaagi, though?

The Azam- Shaheen scene broke my heart. He should have been straight with Shaheen but people do take him for granted. And every person has a tolerance limit.

Haha I've been noticing that since two episodes too...they are green-screening the Lucknow backdrops into the scene...and it's VERY easy to tell that the backdrop is fake...extra obvious in today's epi cuz the frame suddenly switched angles while Nikumb was standing still😆

Same here...I've reached rock-bottom expectations-wise as far as Yamini is concerned...but the Nikumb bits I still liked like the bit with Raghu as you mentioned...the way he retorts to him...

I dunno what Yamini is up to...and in the precap toh it seems she's believing Raghu and will go fight with Nikumb over that *rolls eyes*

I felt really bad for Azam in the Azam-Shaheen scene too...liked that there was some gravitas shown to his character again today rather than just being the class clown...I guess it's these little scenes of the other characters that still keep hanging on even as Yamini's character arc is quite frustrating at this point.

Not watched few episodes have to do from next week
