Three-Shot FF:Yeh Waada Raha Part 3:SuhagRaat

Shravan and Pratap were heading back home in Pratap's car without Saachi for Inder had adamantly persisted in bringing Saachi back to his place since Saachi had not even a vague memory of who Shravan was.In addition to that,Inder could no longer trust Shravan after recollecting whatever Saachi had to go through whilw being with him.Shravan could not stop Inder from taking Saachi away from his life and he felt that he deserved this harsh punishment for hurting his dear wife.What he felt worse was that his dad had begged and pleaded before Inder for Shravan's happiness,which had fallen ond eaf ears of Inder's as he brought Saachi away from them.Shravan and Pratap tried to hold back their tears as they reached home.

Upon hearing the doorbell,Madhura,Neeta and Dadi stood in front of the door after opening it with the prayer thaali.Madhura hugged Shravan and placed the tikha on his forehead.They looked around and asked for Saachi.Shravan's eyes promptly welled up and he rushed to his room,slamming the door.Shravan gradually leaned against the door and he knelt down on the floor,crying his heart out,as he recalled how Saachi had not recognized him.Until now,he hadn't realized that he could have loved Saachi to such a great extent that he can't live on his own or exist in life without her.His world revolved around Saachi but she had just vanished form his life without saying anything,which had hurt him the most in his life right now.

He wiped his tears and looked at his bed,almost thinking that Saachi was lying on his bed while looking at him.As he reached for her hand,she smiled and disappeared.Shravan laid his head in despair at the edge of his bed and fell asleep.Neeta and Nidhi had gone to check on Shravan in his room after knowing what had happened from Pratap.Nidhi treid to wake Shravan up but Neeta stopped her and both of them headed to the dining table,where everyne was seated for dinner.Pratap was utterly disheartened by the outcome of events that took place in Shravan's and Saachi's lives and everyone else's faces had a shadow of melancholy attached to their faces.None of them ate their dinner and left the dining table towards their room after taking a look at Shravan.Pratap held Madha's hand and tried to pacify her hat everything will be alright soon,wiping her tears.

~5 Weeks Later~

Shreya had bumped into Shravan as he got out of his dad's office to go for lunch elsewhere.Shreya smiled widely and asked him to lunch with her,bringing her to a nearby restaurant.

Shreya:Jeeju,sach much maine nahin socha tha ki main aapse iss tarha milungi..

Shravan:(smiled weakly)Shreya,woh..

Shreya:Poochiye na jeeju..

Shravan:Saachi..How is she?

Shreya:Dii bohat khush hain..Lekin aap toh bohat badal gaye ho jeeju..I mean,aap..

Shravan:Saachi mere baarein mein poochthi hai kabhi bhi?(Shreya shook her head and Shravan smiled weakly)Shreya,tum kuch order karo aur main abhi aata hoon..(came bck after a while)

Shreya:Jeeju,maine kahin baar aapke naam zikr kiya tha Saachi dii ke saamne ..Unhe aap dono ki shaadi ki tasveerein chori chori dikhaayi bhi thi aur woh bas hairan ho gayi..Aapka number dii ke mobile mein aur aisa kahin cheezein dikhaayi thi lekin bata nahin..Aur toh aur,papa aur maa Saachi di ke shaadi dobaara se karwaane ki koshish mein hain..Aise kaise ho sakta hain jab ki aap Saachi di ke pati ho...

Shravan:Nahin Shreya,maine talaaq papers par sign kiya tha..

Shreya:Kya???Lekin kab??

Shravan:Shayad tumhe nahin bata tha ki mamaji ghar par aaya tha aur Saachi ki khushiyon ke liye,maine sign kar diya tha..

Shreya:Main toh college trip par Shimla gayi thi..Mujhe kuch bhi nahin bata thi..Yeh sab kuch sahi nahin hai,jeeju..

Shravan:Saachi khush hai aur yehi mere liye kaafi hain..

Shreya:Aur ab?

Shravan:Ab kya?Main dad ki office mein junior manager ke post pe hoon aur aise hi jee raha hoon..(smiled at Shreya)Aur khush hoon..

Shreya:Jeju,aapko jhooth bolna tak nahn aata..Aap kaise khush ho sakte ho jab aapki biwi kisi aur ke hone jaa rahi hain?(her eyes welled up upon seeing Shravan's sadness evdent on his face)

Shravan:Main kya karoo,Shreya?Mamaji ne khud mujhse kaha tha ki mujhe Saachi ke saamne nahin aana hai..

Shreya:(got furious)Iska matlab hai ki aap mere dii ko hamesha haesha ke liye bhool jaayenge?

Shravan:Tumne aisa kaise sochliya ki main tumhari dii ko bhool jaaonga,huh??Woh meri zindagi hain aur uske liye ki main ab tak jee raha hoon..Uske zubaan par mere naam snnaa chahtha hoon;jaise woh mujhe hamesha pukaar thi haain,Shravanji..

Shreya:Sab theekh hoga,jeeju..

Shravan:Mujhe jaana hoga,Shreya..Saachi ka khayal rakhna..(Shreya nodded and bid goodbye to Shravan)

~A Week Later-Nidhi's godhbharaai~

Shreya had brought Saachi to Shravan's house to be part of Nidhi's godhbharaai ceremony,which Shreya got to know from Bunty and Viren.Shreya had told Saachi that it was her friend's sister-in-law's godhbharaai.Shreya had excused herself and went to talk to Madhura,Dadi,Neeta and Nidhi about it and in return,they thanked her for making this day a memorable and special day for the entire Jaiswal family.Saachi was looking at the hall filled with decorative lights and balloons.She was flummoxed,as though she's part of the house and that she knew where each room was.Shravan had come downstairs to wish Nidhi.She hugged him,thanking him for the wishes and gestured to him to look towards his right for a suprise.He did so and was shocked to see Saachi at his place.He looked around to see if Mamaji had accompanied her but Nidhi told him that Saachi had only come with Shreya;he smiled and excused himself.Shravan had fixed his eyes on Saachi and gazed at her from a distance,recalling the celebrations of Karva Chauth and Diwali and Saachi dancing for him.Shreya snapped at him,bringing him back to reality and Shravan thanked her earnestly for bringing Saachi with her.

Shravan:Thanks a lot Shreya..Tumhe andaaza nahin hai ki Maa aur Nidhi dear kitne khush hain..

Shreya:Aur aap,jeeju?Maine toh yeh sab sirf aapke liye kiya tha..Aap khush nahin hain?

Shravan:KYa mujhe kehne ki zaroorat hai?Hhmm?(Shreya and Shravan smiled widely at each other)

Shreya:Jeeju,main dii ke paas chalti hoon..(Shravan nodded)Dii,are you ok?

Saachi:Mujhe washroom jaana hain..Main abhi aati hoon..(headed towards the kitchen area)

Shreya:Dii,waha toh bohat log hain;aap upar jaayiye..(Saachi nodded)Jeeju ke kamre mein jaayegi toh zaroor kuch toh yaad aayegi na?(looked at Shravan and gave a surreptitious Thumbs-up to him)

~After some time~

Saachi had come out of Shravan's room,feeling really awkward and fazed.She had felt that she knew every nook and corner of the room;she constantly got fragments of blurry memories of the room.Sh was totally taken aback when she saw the photo frame of hrself with a guy who had claimed her to be his wife, when she was admitted in the hospital.Shreya too had mentioned to her several times but she just gave no importance to her words.Now,seeing herself with sindoor on her forehead and seeing the guy and his family members,she felt that perhaps Shreya was right but she just couldn't fathom as to why she couldn't recall anything at all.She remained calm and went downstairs with the intention to tell Shreya everything but before that,Saurabh had brought Nidhi carefully outside their mansion,closing her eyes.Shreya and Saachi went outside well wh Neeta invited them.Nidhi got scared initially whenshe heard the loud fireworks in the sky.Saurabh smiled when Nidhi hugged him but as she opened her eyes,she no longer saw the fireworks.Instead,she saw a red-coloured heart which had the words,"I love you Nidhi" written within the heart.She turned to Saurabh and kissed him on his cheek.Saurabh wiped the tear of happiness and hugged her.Just then,Saahi recalled the night when she saw the words,"I love you Saachi" written across th sky but she just couldn't remember anything further.

Back home,Saachi woke up feeling an intolerable pain in her head,with the bank of memories she had acquired from Shravan's place.She felt as though some kind of iPod shuffle was going on in her head and she couldn't sleep te entire night,feeling disconcerted y the entire stream of thoughts running in her head.This behaviour persisted in her continually for several nights,days and even months.

~2 Years and a few Months Later~

Shravan was boarding the flight to Mussoorie from Mumbai,where he had left for two years ago to take responsibility over his dad's business venture.He had gradually learnt to move on in his life,not to be troubled by the fact that his love didn't recognize him,but the very fact didn't stop him from thinking about her and falling ever so deeply for her.His friends had known and updated him abut Saachi and even tried to get him to forget Saachi but he had simply ignored their words and jut resumed believing strongly in his love for Saachi and he vowed with great conviction that one day,his Saachi would remember him an his true love.

He truly remembered the day when his mum asked him to forget Saachi and re-marry another girl and be happy in life.At that point of time,his wounds were left bare,exposed and not even healed,as he had heard about Saachi's mama tying to get her married elsewhere.His mum couldn't bear to see his state,thus she gave him such a suggestion bt she had really hurt him and made him drive to a conclusion which no one had expecte from Shravan--to leave home for good!!

However,he had received a phone call from his sisters-in-law about Dadi's deteriorating health problems and that she had been wanting to see grandson badly.He had never refused to fulfill Dadi's wishes and thus,he's heading back home to see his Dadi.Meanwhile,it was Saachi's wedidng day.She was getting ready and Shreya kept trying her utmost to stop the wedding.Shreya went to meet Saachi in her room and locked the door.Just then,she saw Saachi crying.

Shreya:Dii,kya hua?Aap ro kyun rahe ho?

Saachi:Shreya,main aise kaise kar sakti hoon?

Shreya:Kya?

Saachi:Main shaadi kaise kar sakti hoon..Aur kaha hai Shravanji?

Shreya:(widened her eyes in shock but thought for a while)"Kuch bhi sochne se pehle,mujhe ek baar ocnfirm toh karnaa hi padega"..(looked at Saachi)Kaun Shravanji?

Saachi:Shravanji,tumhari jeeju..Woh kaha hai?

Shreya:Dii,aapko sab yaad aa gayi hai?I mean,aap toh jeeju ko bhool gayi thi aapke accident ke kaaraan aur..

Saachi:Shreya,tum jhoot bol rahi ho,hain na?Main Shravanji ko kaise bhool sakti hoon?Woh meri zindagi hain,mere sab kuch hai woh..

Shreya:Awww how sweet,Dii...(pinched her cheek)Lekin aap sach much bhool gayi thi..(and narrated what else had happened to hr)Aur aaj aapki shaadi hai,jo mujhe bilkul bhi pasand nahin hiai..

Saachi:Shreya,mujhe Shravanji se milna hai aur unke ghar jaana hai..Par mama mami aur..

Shreya:Woh sab aap mujh par chodiye,main sambhaalungi..Aap jaldi peeche ki darwaaze se jaayiye..

Before Saachi left,she turned around and hugged Shreya who wiped Saachi's tears anbid her goodbye,wishing her all the best.Saachi ran all the wa to Shravan's house,recalling the time when she had run all the way thinking that Shravan was going to commit suicide but he had fooled her then.She rang the doorbell and she saw a small kid wh had stopped her.Nidhi and Neeta was pleasantly surprised to see Saachi and both of them ran towards her and hugged her.
