Shravan came upon her , he bent down upon her and then

He took her dupatta and laid it on her again

She looked at him , right into his eyes,he looked back with those compelling brown eyes

For a moment they sat down in the middle of the road looking deep into each other's eyes

Then shravan got up and held his hands to her

Shravan: maine motorcycle isliye roki thi kyunki mujhe darr tha ki kahin aapka dupatta bike ke tyre mein nap has jaye

Sanchi took his hands which immediately clasped around her small ones in a protective gesture

He helped her up and then not leaving her hands walked back to the motorcycle

Sanchi: thanks

Shravan turned and looked at her intently

Shravan: Sanchi

Sanchi looked at him

Shravan : main tumko kabhi koi chot nahi pahunchaunga , kabhi nahi…tum mujhe kabhi mat darna , I can never harm you in anyways

Sanchi: woh main

Shravan : sahi time toh nahi hai lekin mujhe yeh ab kehna hi hoga

Shravan: Sanchi I LOVE YOU

Sanchi looked at him incredously

Shravan looked at her and knew she was scared

Shravan : majak kar raha hun chaunkon mat…

Maine aaj tak kisi ladki se kabhi pyar nahi kiya hai tumne kya samjha main sach mein tumse pyar karta hun

Sanchi: woh aap itne serious hoke keh rahe the ki main chaunk gayi

Shravan thinking : keh toh main seriously hi raha tha par shyad abhi sahi waqt nahi hai

God: han abhi sahi waqt nahi hai beta , pyar mein toh bahut parikshayen deni padhti hain abhi toh shuruat hai aur abhi tak Sanchi ko tum dono ke bich ke rishte ka ehsaas nahi hua hai..

Shravan: accha mere sath coffee piyoghi

Sanchi: abhi?

Shravan: nahi jab tum ghar pahunch jaoghi tab tum apne kamre mein baith ke aur main apne ghar pe apne kamre mein aur hum an ek dusre ko phone pe bol denghe ki kab hamari coffee khatam hui right?

Sanchi: acha acha thik hai

They reached a coffee shop

Over a coffee

Shravan: tumne kabhi shadi ke bare mein socha hai?

Sanchi: kiski shadi

Shravan: kaka ki……….

Sanchi: woh is umar mein shadi karenghe kya?

Shravan:idiot main tumhari shadi ki baat kar raha hun..

Sanchi was just putting the cup to her mouth was startled and spilled coffee on her hands

Shravan in a moment had held her hands and was wiping her hand with his hanky

This act brought him on his knees near sanchi's chair .

As he wiped her hands she looked at him doing it closely , for the first time she noticed tahts hsravan ahd brown eyes

Shravan: jala toh nahi na ….

Sanchi was lost in his eyes

Shravan : Sanchi are you all right , hath jala toh nahi…

Sanchi : hmm han nahi jalega kyun

Shrvan : coffee toh hath pe giri thi tumhare sir pe kaise asar kar gayi

Sanchi: nahi nahi jala .. aap kya keh rahe the

Shravan : apni shadi ke bare mein kuch socha hai ?

Sanchi: aapse matlab

Shravan : puch raha hun bas…

Sanchi: maine toh bahut socha hai…

Bahut dhoom dham se shadi karna chahati hun, bahut saara band baaja baratii

Shravan:main actual shadi ki baat nahi kar raha tha

Sanchi: aur bhi type ki shadiyan hoti hain?

Shravan : shadi bhi kya akele karoghi…

Sanchi: toh kya poore shere ko lekar karunghi….

Shravan : tumse baat karna bekar hai

Sanchi:toh mat karo

Shravan looked at her intensely and Sanchi got little confused

Sanchi: accha pucho thik se jo puchna hai

Shravan: abhi tak kya thik se nahi puch raha tha?

Sanchi: meri coffee khatam ho gayi chalen?

Shravan: meri nahi hui.. pehle mere sawalon ka jawab do

Sanchi : mujhe nahi dena tum apni coffee piyo main chali

Part 25

Sanchi was just leaving the seat when again Shravan caught her hand and gazed intently in her eyes , with that gaze on her she could do nothing but obey the pressure on her hands , she sat down on the chair again and kept looking at her feet

Shravan was amused at Sanchi's reaction to his stare but all the same he couldn't move his eyes from her although knowing that she was feeling uncomfortable with the scrutiny

God: off ho aise hi baithe rahenghe kya yeh dono I have to do something

A waiter who had just cleaned the table walked and neatly dropped the cleaning rag on Shravan's head

Shravan who was lost on seeing Sanchi just picked up that rag and gave it to waiter without even glancing at him and the thankful waiter escaped

God: drat ab kya poori coffee girani padhegi inpar…

Sanhci: aapki coffee khatam nahi hui

Shravan was brought back to his senses and then glanced at his cup which had been empty for a long time

Shravan: tumne bataya nahi

Sanhci: meri shadi se aapko matlab?

Shravan:itna bhav mat khao samjhi main bas aise hi puch raha tha

Sanchi: mujhe bhuk nahi lagi thi jo main bhav khaun main aapko kyun bataun apni life ke plan ke bare mein

Shravan got up paid the bill and walked outside with Sanchi

Shravan : matlab plan hai , bata do mai kisi aur ko nahi bataungha

Shravan started the bike and Sanchi sat behind him

Sanchi: main toh na love marriage karunghi, ek accha ladka aayegha aur phir mujhe usse pyar ho jayegha aur phir woh muhje propose karega aur main han kar dunghi

Aur woh ladka se na bhagwan milwayenghe mujhe

God: milwa toh diya ab kya shravan ke upar ek sign board lagana padhega …yeh ladki kitni bewakoof hai

Shravan had listened to all this bemusedly and reached Sanchi's home she jumped down on the pavement

Sanchi: yeh kafi hai ki aur bhi kuch puchna hai

Shravan: kaise ladke se pyar karoghi

Sanchi: accha sidha sadha majakiya, responsible sincere, intelligent honest handsome smart dashing

Shravan: mil chukka tumhe ladka ………itni badi list hai toh bhagwan bhi poori nahi kar payenghe

God: sahi kaha , main bhi agar insaan hota toh yeh list mein fit nahi baithta

Sanhci: mujhe iski fikar nahi bhagwan mujhe milwayenghe

God: saara kaam main hi karunga kya?

Shravan: bhagwan kya tumhare liye special swayamvar karvaenghe kya?

Sanchi: ohh how exciting …par mere liye toh ek hi kafi hai

Shravan looking into her eyes aur woh…

Sanhci looked back into his eyes aur woh kya?

Shravan : kal milte hain

Saying this he started his bike and went away

Sanchi looked at his back and went away feeling sad

She always felt happy when Shravan was around her

She could never admit it to anyone but when she had come outside the school gates and not found him she had felt very alone and scared and missed him and when she had seen him arriving all the nerves in her body had shrieked in delight

As she went inside her house she couldn't help but feel that since the first day they had met , there had been a connection between them , and then she remembered the whole mandir incident , how strange that so many meetings in one day had led to an unlikely friendship between them

The words he had spoken to her on the disco night still reverberated through her when she slept ,although Shravan never made reference to the talk again but she couldn't forget the intensity of his eyes and the meaning of those words

And how could she forget the feeling of belongingness which she found in his arms

Yet she couldn't trust herself to analyse these feelings anymore , they were leading her astray , she had already decided what she wanted

God: dear child this is love , the security you have in his arms, the sense of well being when you are together , this has been decided from the very first that you belong together so stop fighting your destiny and accept the person I have chosen for you because he'll be everything you desire and more

Wow Ankita, God is amazing! Hahaha, the way you wrote if there should be a huge sign on Shravan's head for Saachi 🤣
