We can say Satyavathi's dad for kick-starting things, we can say Bheesma for sticking so rigidly to his vow to the detriment of the kingdom, we can say Dhritarasthra for being mentally blind and weak, we can say Gandhari for blindfolding herself from her responsibility, we can say Duryodhana for being extremely stubborn and being so unrighteous, Karna for supporting and encouraging Duryodhana ( Dury would not dare to go to war without Karna's support), Dushasan for Draupadi's Vastraharan, Shakuni for influencing his nephews in the wrong way, we can say even Yudhisthir for gambling away his kingdom and being so mild on betrayals and the list goes on and on.

The choice would be different for different people.

For me, Dhritarasthra being denied the throne gave rise to the bitterness which concluded in the war. Not a person, but this event.

Absolutely right and completely agreed!

Phir toh Vidur ko bhi add karlo list mein🤣

Did he not advice duryodhan to mix poison in food of duryodhan

And if he was peaceful lover then why he was killed by sehdev in last day of Mahabharata

What shakuni was doing in Kurushetra if he don't want to fight Mahabharata battle

What? 🤔😆

He was killed by Sahdev because he participated in the war. Simple.

Shakuni participated for Duryodhana. Before the war he advised the latter to hand over the kingdom to the Pandavas to avoid the war. He was in favour of peace.

Are you guys referring to the Bhishma Pratigya? I think so...because the other vow of sticking to the ruler/throne shown by BRC doesn't exist.

Shakuni wasn't involved in Bhima's poisoning.

I think he and Nakul chalo Vikarna ko bhi add Kar lo are the only ones who have nothing to do with the cause of war

Being in favour of peace doesn't mean not participating in the war when in actually happens

He was participating in war but wasn't originally in favour of it
