Like Ashwathama and Karna were not even that close. Duryodhan considered Ashwathama a friend n vice versa so being the bff of Duryodhan, Karna and Ashwathama had cordial relations something like Mitra k Mitra bhi Mitra hota hai. But he took to another level

Oh! The author surely took it to another level.

Vrushali is a part of the same book, isn't it?

Yes she is. And I guess Karna's foster brother Shon too finds his origin there.

Yes, as much as it pains me ( because Karna is my favourite) , Karna did take part in the humiliation of the Pandavas and Draupadi. He was the one who instigated for the disrobing and called her "Vaishya" in the court.

However, and this is my personal opinion ( others may disagree), he was not unworthy of redemption.

He did redeem himself at the end.

Those events warrant a separate discussion and we will definitely discuss and debate when we get to them.😊

@bold: I hope you watched today's episode. Whatever he did and said can't be redeemed.

Yes, of course. I am fully aware of what happened in the text as well as what was shown today.

It's just a matter of individual opinion. 😊

In my opinion, refusing an entire kingdom served on a platter shows a lot of character. Not a lot of people can refuse a kingdom.

I think being able to part with divine armour and earrings which guaranteed that he won't die in battle shows a lot of strength and courage.

I think knowingly fighting on a losing side shows tremendous determination.

Not killing four of his brothers (anyone of whose death would a huge blow to the Pandavas side), knowing that it was a huge betrayal to Duryodhana, showed that ultimately he chose Dharma to win.

And his charitable nature is definitely a good trait.

As I said, I didn't ask everyone to agree with me. Others may say he is irredeemable, but his actions before the war showed me that he can be redeemed and respected.

Let's agree to disagree 😊

Yeah atleast he repented, what irony is he admired her strength for rescuing her husbands right after the insult too.

I don't see any of the pandavas repenting when Drau was their responsibility. Not taking blame off Karna's shoulder but the crime measuring meter must be same for all.

Absolutely.

I didn't want to point out the fault of the Pandavas since the thread didn't involve them, but if we are blaming people for Draupadi's situation that day, let's not forget her husband who staked her in a game of dice and her other husbands who watched the same without protest.
