New face in Ayushman's love life

Ayushman's growing love interest, Dr Kavya, has a new face.

Chandana Sharma, who plays the role of the doctor treating Ayushman's autistic brother Bodhi (Hemant) has opted out of this daily Sony soap.

She has been replaced by Riva Bubber (Damini of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi).

Says Sharma, "I was not too happy with the way my character was shaping up. I wasn't convinced about what I was doing in the show. It was an amicable parting with the producers.

In fact I had already informed the producers and the channel about my decision to quit earlier. I even shot for them for 10 days till last Saturday so that they would find a replacement."

Bubber who began shooting on Monday adds, "It's just my second day on the shoot. Dr Kavya's track is going to have a major shift. Besides that initial chemistry between Ayushman; there is also the fact that the
cynical Dr Kavya begins to believe that she, too, can fall in love."

According to producer Siddharth Malhotra of Cinevistaas, "Chandana quit because of her own reasons, so we had to look for a replacement. At the moment the track is developing into a love story between Ayushman and Dr Kavya.

But there is also a mysterious past of Dr Kavya which will be revealed. There are going to be some major twists and turns in the coming weeks."

Sharma anchors the travel show Musafir Hoon Yaaron (Star Plus) and from next week will also host the lifestyle programme Har Ghar Kucch Kehta Hai (Star One). This show was previously anchored by model Nethra Raghuraman.

"It's not that I only want to do anchoring; I am open to acting in serials which have a meaty role," adds Sharma who was earlier seen in Just Mohabbat and Dil Se Dosti (Sony). While Bubber earlier featured in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr and Karma (Star Plus)

Incidentally, Ayushman which has been on air for six months also had a change in the title character. Vinod Singh who was involved in a set brawl was replaced by Sudeep Sahir.

Is the new one the same girl who initially played Kiran's role (she was later replaced with another) in Astitva

The new one is the old Kiran from Astitva.
She wasnt really shown as a positive charactor so maybe here also she will have a negative touch...hmmm....

I dont ayush to have anything to do with Kavya
