Ekta - KJo play Koffee with Karan
At the Global Indian TV Honours, the audience got a chance to see Ekta Kapoor performing with Karan Johar on the hit number from his film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna - rock n roll soniya. Four on-screen couples first performed on his films songs and in the end soap queen Ekta and Karan shook a leg.
Ekta presented the Special Honour Award to Karan for his contribution to films and his hugely successful chat show Koffee with Karan. But the real drama began after that. Holding Karan's hand Ekta announced that she is going to play rapid fire with him like he used to do in his show and will give him the coffee hamper.
Ekta: If you make a movie with all the Khans from the industry what will be title of this film?
Karan: It is very simple… Ekta Khandan!
Ekta: If you want to cast Rani, Priyanka, Lara and Kareena in the same film…
Before Ekta could complete the question Karan replied: It is just impossible. If I ever think of doing such a thing, the film would be called ICU. I will have to order for so many wigs on the set… woh ek dusre ke baal noch lenge.
Ekta: Who will be the replacement for the following characters – Tulsi, Baa, Jassi.
Karan:
Tulsi - Smriti as she is not there in the show and she was good in the role so you can ask her to come back.
Baa-There is no replacement for her. It is very difficult to get a 200 year old lady.
Jassi - I think all the heroines look like Jassi without make up so you can cast anyone
Ekta: What do you think about award functions?
Karan: Superb when you win and tough when you loose.
Ekta: Reality show?
Karan: Far more better scripted than your soaps dear and they have a lot of drama and emotions as well.
Ekta: Who can rule the country better Shahenshah or Badshah?
Karan: I know who the Shahenshah is and who the Badshah is, but I think we should wait for Akbar to come this month and then decide.

Ekta: If you want to make the third Sholay how will it be?
Karan: Mujhe pagal kute nahi kata hai… didn't you see what happened to the second Sholay.
Ekta: Take one name for Sen-Sex
Karan: I think it is surely Sushmita Sen

Ekta: This is last and toughest one as you requested. If Rani is Rani of Bollywood and Kareena is the Maharani then who is best of the best?

Karan naturally won the hamper and commented that this time his mother will be happy that he won the hamper instead of giving it away. The director also won the Best Chat Show anchor for Koffee with Karan at the ceremony
