Hey guys and gals. As you know by the topic message, I'm going to be closing this shop down soon. :) And I obviously will not be opening another one. Before I close it down I'd just like to say a few things.
Firstly, and most importantly, I'm closing the shop down because of my school and studies. I just want to give it first priority and so I am closing it.
Other reasons are of course this whole "copying" or "stealing ideas" fiasco. Its not that anyone is copying me or I'm be accused of it, but I think this forum has come to the point where it has become ridiculous to show your creations without someone pointing out or discussing about its originality.
Everyone here is inspired by each other, and so, even if one's creations look like another, who cares? The person only starts making siggies when they see someone else and wish "I wanna make siggies like that..." so if the end up looking like that, what is the point of making a big deal about it rather than appreciating the fact someone is inspired by what you are talented at?
Many, or mostly all Indian songs, for that reason, copy American tunes or are using the idea or rapping and break-dancing in their songs, is bow-wow or 50 cent having a rant over it? No!! They're glad its being used, and that their ideas and talent is being spread around the world.
'The notebook' is being made in India too.. only because its a beautiful movie/story right?
This is internet, and stuff like this is BOUND to happen...no matter what.
Secondly, our choices are SO LIMITED. If you understand what I mean?
Everyone is using the same textures, and same effects, fonts, pictures. Everyone is running to deviant.com to find the best brushes and, EVERYONE is using PSP8,9 or Photoshop. So its no surprise the creations WILL be similar to each other! There is an extent to where everyone can go different. Now, I'm not encouraging everyone to start copying each other completely.. but there is a point where, well, you can't help it and if one of the brushes are the same as someone else on IF, STOP freaking out and having an emotional breakdown over such an issue.
It may sound mean, and I'm sorry, but its true. I see all my friends here closing their shops and are hurt because now even FRIENDS are accusing EACH OTHER of stealing their ideas. Well, this sure is an excellent reason for fighting.
As far as my creations are concerned, well, I was inspired fully by Khushi Di when i first started. Her simple siggies took my breath away and they still do.
At this point, I really don't care if someone hear cuts my name and claims that the siggies I made are theirs. For me, its just a stress reliever, something I do do kill time, and I don't need to take sure things so seriously. I certainly do NOT take all day making siggies until they are perfect, or start crying if I see someone else using the same picture or idea as me.
I'm tired of all this, and thats the reason I'm stopping my siggy/avi making here. Other then that, over even more IMPORTANTLY, its because of school. I won't be opening it over the summer either, or ever. LOL. I will keeping making them for my friends once in a while, but thats about it. I doubt I'll be even opening PS for sometime now.
I want to thank EVERYONE for liking my creations and requesting. For the next few weeks, I'm going to be completely inactive from IF... I think I need a little break from here. 😊
