well if I may make a suggestion, can we tweak up IR and bring it bk? Obviously, we have to work out alot of problems that are in it rite now...like making a whole team to be incharge of it so there is as little biasness as possible...creating a criteria that we use to compare the siggys against so they are all seen they same way...etc..
but i think if we keep a closer eye on this section then maybe we can reduce the copying situation.
just a thought.

why dont we bring back ir (induality rocks) ?

but wit new n old membas so it cant be baised n it old membas culld tell if they seen design be4 .......also becuse this way people can cee it isnt copied designed.....

also as ibserinty said we need to keep a close eye

IR is a very a very sensitive topic too IB. It was a lot of work -- yes, but it was closed for a reason and it can't be opened up as it will create more problems than solve them. We tried it and many did feel bad coz of it and there was a huge issue about it...and thats not what we want. We want everyone to have the freedom to do what they want in this section after all this is a free-forum. Also, we can't define creativity, we can't be the judge of it. It is different for everyone. Copying does occur, sometimes it is to learn, sometimes it is simply to copy. Slowly and gradually ppl will learn, and if not Mods will tell them to learn once u complain to us. Thats all we can do, if we force them to do something else people will leave the section coz of these forced rules.

Serenity thanks for your suggestion. But IR cant be brought back because of various reasons.

See, till date, we have never posted examples of copied sigs. If we would, many would start feeling bad.

yea i do agree , copying is really a very sensitive issue n we wud be very carefull wiz it so zat we dont hurt anyone but we cant also remain silent zats y i agree wiz khushi n khair zat those members who r copying sud be pmed 😊


using same font as another is not zat bad compared to copying the sig style coz u know font u get anywhere but style is one's own creativity n hard work , we cant jus sit n take one's style ,its not fair for the original sig maker . 😕

Font was just one example of what a sig maker once said. And I felt it was wrong to say using the same font is copying.

Khiar, Khushi i understand wht you guys are saying...i knw there are alot of problems with IR especially with the judging creativity...
but see we can't just let all this happen just bcuz these ppl who do it feel bad if they are approached...
there must be a way to limit it all...i mean even if it;s a small step like if you see someone's work being copied then say something..alot of ppl just see it and never bother to say anything.
If all the members here would start to even try to stop it then maybe we'll be 1 step closer to finding a solution?

Hmm, as we are talking about fonts. So once a popular siggy maker starts using a specific font, then you think that other's start using it?

Serenity I completely agree with you. I know many don't say anything and keep praising those who copy as they don't want any issues.

Let's see if PMing works, even that has lead to issues before.
