When you click on File>New then just click on transparent on the bottom.........😉

sometimes that doesn't work...when you're saving you might see some green around the edges....well the best way to make it go away is to put a bkgroud behind. The best color is the color that we see when post in this forum....that way you wont see it when you post it. Kind like my blue Serenity_Ink siggy. The color is: #f4f4fb

overlay is a blend mode. Go here: http://www.psptoybox.com/images/psp7/workarea.gif

You see where it says Layers Pallete? Look in the other side of that box....it should be in there.
