I am extremely sorry for the late reply Swetha, I know you asked for this some months back lol. Unfortunately, I was not in the mood to PS...so was away from PS-ing for awhile.

Update

Ummm, hi? Hello? 🤔 Okay, so I vanished once again for a good 5 months or so...cause the last time I updated here was in April?! 😳 So I honestly would not be surprised if I've become a stranger in my own gallery now... 😆 So basically, I took a pretty long hiatus from PS-ing as life likes to take its course and adult life takes its toll on us. Therefore, I had lost the motivation and inspiration to PS. So that is the long story, in short.

Anyway, I am glad to be back here and glad I had somehow found the inspiration to PS again. Although I would say I've become quite rusty...but tried my best to unlearn and re-learn things (as my dear friend Madz would put it :P).

Before I move on to the actual update, I would like to say I am glad I am updating during the beautiful festive season of Durga Puja and Navratri! So a very Happy Durga Puja and Happy Navratri to all who are celebrating! :) I personally love this time of year, as the festivities usually have this immense influence of lifting my spirits! Most of the stuff in this update was things I made 2-3 months ago...but didn't feel like posting until I have more stuff to update. Hope people enjoy the update anyway :)

KZK 2/Anurag-Prerna Icons

Needless to say, I have found a show that I am loving these days! Never would I have thought I would be loving a reboot version of KZK (cause I had seen bits and parts of season 1, but had mostly love the second generation...specifically Prem-Mukti!!! )

But in the reboot version, I am just LOVING Erica-Parth's pairing . That is what mainly drew me into the show, despite the unrealistic and laughable OTT scenes the show has/ Also being a Bengali, the show started off with the festival of Durga Puja...which is another reason it kind of hit my soft spot there...

All I can say about this show is, it seemed promising and very different in the first month of the show. The casting itself was so damn brilliant, and I have no shame in saying that I had mainly seen this show for the main cast, as in the 4 leads. This show was a huge risk for all leads to take, knowing what kind of reactions the show might get in terms of its concept.

It dared to be bold and different in terms of concept, and the theme itself was a sensitive topic to handle...therefore characters needed to be handled and written well, which it was in the first month or so... But alas, the show couldn't match up to expectations and therefore the mixed audience reaction occurred. I can honestly write a whole essay of what I feel for the show and it's characters...but don't want to bore people. 😆 And I really don't want to get into who I support as in KM, KN, Kunal, Nandini, or Mauli and what not...all I can say is I loved all the characters equally at one point. Can't say the same now though...

Sid-Anu Icons

Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai was basically a show I had seen during the summer mostly for 2-3 months, and I had really adored the show and Sid-Anu's pairing! The show had a simple yet an engaging story, with well-etched and sensible characterizations! Overall, it was a great show!
