@Chashmish: this happens with me too. But i solve it easily.

I do this:

I go to the first frame of the gif

then with the option select all frames (the option is visible my clicking on the little arrow on the right side of the timeline box's bar)

I select them all.

then i drag the Texture on top of it

In the timeline box i can see that the texture is visible only in the first frame, i simply ckick for two times on the little eye near the texture layer. And the textures appears even in the other frames. Now you can change it's blanding mode or do any other adjustment.

I think the other frames need to registar the texture iss liye when you drag it, it doesn't show on the other ones.

And this method with me works.
