Clashes will be there if 2 PS are in one system. Try running the application as administrator. If not extract that application to some other folder (isolate from the file) and try running it.

Guys, tips on improving this siggie, please-

I couldn't get the translucent text effect right exactly. Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong?

Just duplicate the text layer.. It will get a little darker..

Looks good.. try to tone down the yellow a little.. or use different coloring may be..

your first version was quite good.

I would have adjusted the leves a little and then i would have added a gradient map(Black and white would have been okay)

To be honest you'll be able to do most things in cs5 so you don't need to worry about cs6

Gifs are made better on cs5 as well since you get a dynamic link problem in cs6

So uninstall all Ps software you have

Install the one I gave in your c drive

Install the latest QuickTime and you will be able to use it and it has the timeline too

You're good to go from there

If your cs6 was portable you can save it in another folder not in your c drive and launch it by doing run as administrator. That way you have cs5 and cs6 portable.

You just can't open one while the other is running. But you can save two in the same c drive. I did that with cs5 and the cc 2015 version I had. But don't know if it will work for you.
