How make a gif

PS version - CS5 courtesy to Naz (Violetaa) cause cs6 is a ---🤬

Download the vid which you want gif of. If it's too long (like one hour epi or two hour long movie) you can try chopping it off to few minutes using a vid editor software. If you don't have that chuck it.

Open cs5 and do this.

Browse the vid from gallery and click on it.

Then go to the moment you want your gif, press shift, then click on the end of scene. Press ok.

If your machine is as slow as mine keep waiting. Listen to Chainsmoakers or Arijit.😛

Now the gif is there. Run it several time and delete unnecessary frames, then select all frames> flatten frames to layers. Then select these new layers (first layer> press shift> click last layer) and press ctrl+G to group them. Delete all the previous layers which don't have eye. Funda behind this is your PSD will have lesser MB and it will open faster. Now resize it, crop it, color it, adjust the run time. Coloring adjustment layers should be always above the first frame. Add any font if you want. You can even add topaz action though I don't usually if the vid is HQ.

Now onto saving.

Run the gif a few times after you save it and if you are satisfied, done!

Merging two gifs

If you have premade gif, very good. Open them in PS and start deleting frames so that they have same number of frames. If not then make them and do the thing.

Then group the frames. For gif#1 name the group as 1 and for the other name it two.

Then new document according to your wish (ctrl+n), In the animation bar click on this

and keep clicking till you have same number of frames like your gifs. (If gifs have 30 frames this new doc needs 30 frames).

Now go to gif #1, select all frames and do this

then go to new doc, select all frames and do this

Do the same thing for gif #2 and soon you will see both gifs are over each other. Always select the 1st frame before you do decide to change position of gif or any other thing. Now erase parts (always layer mask), change image size (alt+ctrl+I) add coloring, add fonts. This what mine looks like
