well, i guess animation shop doesn't support any kinda video! you can use Photoshop CS5 or CS6 for making avis n you can also use video to gif converter for converting your videos to gifs!

^firstly use a transparent background, add a brush you wanna add , then write whatever you want! now layer> marge visible! Your layers are merged now! now duplicate your layer! Layer>duplicate layer> new! do this 2 or 3 times! It depends on you! now do the same what you did with you previous tags!

About adding any pic, I will give you the tuto later! :)
