if u have the timeline option u can sharpen/smoothen ur gif at once..no need of actions...u can sharpen/smart blur etc by convert into smart filters..

How to Sharpen gifs using timeline option(CS5 extended n above)

step 1:open ur gif..then select all ur frames..n also select all the layers in ur layer palette

step 2:click convert to vidoe timeline as in the pic

step 3 :then go to filters-->convert to smart filters-->click ok

Step 4: now u can see ur gif as a single layer-->then go to sharpen-->smart sharpen

if u just want to smoothen ur gif apply smart blur..u can apply both smart blur n smart sahrpen too...

and those who don't hv timeline option(CS5 and below)

u people need to sharpen each frame...So here we can use actions...actually if u downloaded any actions u can use that..else u can make ur own actions...i think i already posted abt how to create an action...So here i'm going to mention abt how to use an action in ur gifs...

for eg:here i hv an action to sharpen my gifs which hav 35 frames or less...that means this action can only sharpen gifs which hv a maximum of 35 frames...the frames aftr frame 35 won't get sharpen at all...

Step 1: open ur gif..Select the first frame in ur animation window and also select the first layer in ur layer palette(here my gif has a total of 30 frames)

Step 2: Go to window-->Actions-->Select ur action-->open-->then click play button...>Now u r done-->u can see all ur frames got sharpened according to the settings u have specified in the action...

now all my 30 frames got sharpened at once by using my action...

if not actions then u have to apply smart blur/smart sharpen to each frames in ur gif...that's a time consuming process..
