I've two simple questions. 😳 please don't laugh at me. 😕

1. what is a "PSD" ? What does one mean by this term ?

2. What is a brush in photo shop ? What do you do with it ?

3. What is a layer ?

Can any one please explain these terms ?😊

A PSD is known as Photoshop document often colorings for images

a PS brush is like a regular painting brushes, you can download them but you have some default ones too

But I've one last question, I've PS CS4 , n I tried to stack avis in it. But problem is when I opened

File> Open> My Documents> PariJat> ...

I couldn't see the gifs that are there, 😕 😲 How could I stack the gifs if I couldn't even open them in PS CS4 ? Does that mean I can't stack avis in PS CS 4 ? Or, am I missing some thing ?🤔
