When the quality of my videos is really high, the layers are frikin HUGE! And it murders my entire computer badly...slow speed, cropping & resizing takes forever etc etc..so annoying

What software do you use to download your videos?

I use Real Player, and it usually keeps the size of the layers to a reasonable size.

You can also try converting to MOV format using this website. It might reduce the size for you.

I've used a variety of softwares tbh, Keepvid and another one I can't remember its name lol -_-

If my videos are of 360 or 480p quality then they open up in a decent size but when it's 720p + and all...it is huge.
