Whats the eligibility for SAP BASIS certification

Currently i am working as a web developer at Bangalore. I have one year experience in

my current stream. And my technologies are php,mysql ,ajax,java script etc..

My long term goal is to be a SAP BASIS CONSULTANT. So i want to do the sap basis certification.

But i am not getting the exact information such as eligibilty criteria, course fee and what technical knowledge i must possess etc. I googled lot, but of no use.

Can anyone please assist me in getting this information.
