just paste the texture on the image. and then go to layers. there you'll find blending options, use whatever suits best. i personally like overlay, soft light or darken.

your welcome. and i think its really good for a first try. the texture has come out fine. n i understand what you mean, im nowhere close to perfect, myself!

Bharti it's done just like your regular signature except the background layer is transparent and save as .png to keep the transparency😊
