well for that the few softwares that you'll first need are
Jascanimationshop3
Youtube downloader[if you have realplayer then its not necessary]
AnyVideo converter
and also a screencapping device like Virtual Dub
all the above are free softwares and available online just google them.
once u have the softwares then comes the making part
steps for making avi
1. download ur video
2.convert it to mpeg1 format in your converter
open the video file in ur Virtual dub
1. decide which part you want to make anim of and then mark that portion in the timeline with the help of markers[its provided in Virtualdub]
2. go to ur menubar option>video>>framerate>>choose the option"Process every third frame"
3.Now save your captured frames by going to files>>export>>image sequence>>save as .jpeg
Open Anishop
1.go to files>>animation wizard
a workbox will appear click next until u reach the page where u r asked to add images
2.click on the add images button and add all the images/frames u captured and saved
3.click on 'next' and then'finish'
ur frames will be imported in ur workspace
4.Now go to edit>>choose 'select all'
5.with the help of the crop tool from the tool bar resize ur frames
6.U are done with ur editing
7.Go to view>>animation
ur anim avi will be played.
and there u go your animavi is doneđ
P.S.by default ur avi timer is set to 10/100secs perframe, if u want to change the timing of ur avi all u have to do is
go to Animation[this tym the option not from the view drop down list but the tab Animation in the menubar] from the drop down list choose frame properties and set ur desired timing[be sure that before setting a new time all ur frames are selected]
