Finally the devil decided to unleash all its worth...glad to see all your creations at one place. I have already given my over analytical thoughts on IOL and Pablo's sig. The Paradiso one is quite nice.. kinda reminded me of that shot you'd written in M2U. The weird thing is just the other day I was talking about vineyards with my cousin and lo behold I see the sig. Melody wrapped in drop of rain and when it splashed on the ground, there was music...

The mid afternoon thin blade of drizzle greases the tired streets. A nudge, a slip and I find myself face to face with the said sidewalk. A stunning visual of scurrying feet cloud my vision and their urgency make my fallen state look even more depressing. I see the root cause of my fallen a few inches from me; purple toes peeking from white shoes, yellow sundress, and gentle chuckles. The thin veil of rain adds a sense of mystery to the fallen figure next to me. Before the rain curtain could turn into a heavy veil of mystery and anonymity, I pick myself up, grab her hand and make a run for the nearest alley.

Her laughing all the way we ran only added fuel to my courage for something I had never dreamed of doing in my life. The tiny alley which is encapsulated by the buildings resonated with stories which no one ever acknowledged; they were written, performed and had died there. I wonder if this afternoon's events were also absorbed in those sullen buildings.

Her sullied dress made her even more alluring and her tainted shoes added a hint of recklessness to her impeccable style. The carelessness in which she seated herself on a discarded beer drum made the afternoon even more surreal than I originally imagined. She swings her legs, talks about little things, big things in her life, urban legends, faraway paradise and rain.

A vicious burst of drain water falls from a rooftop above. She squeals at the splashing water which stains her beautiful dress even more. I simply watch her. And I listen to her ramble, the steady hum of rain drops and moving traffic.

Like the way how the land dries once the sun is out erasing any memory of rain, the pure bliss which I am feeling right now is not permanent and it cannot be savored ever again. But the memory of this afternoon is going to linger and envelop me in its sweetness whenever I run in an afternoon drizzle.

With the first ray of the sun, she runs from the alley with her hands waving. I stare at her foot prints for the longest time; footprints of a comrade who took shelter with me on an average rainy day.

Maybe one day I might come to this alley, all wrinkles and experienced and the passing breeze might just tell me a story of two random strangers estranged during rain who searched for a tune wrapped in rain drops.

Sookie.

Loved the picture you painted, of course. The first lines in the above section came to my mind when i first saw the image (the uncut version, actually.) The splash of water and the alley are my favorite. Alley is exactly what I had in mind and the image of a man leaned against a way in casual stance. A girl is missing as an obvious visual image but the undertone is not missed.

Thanks for doing this A! (Now suggest a title too 😆 )

Okay coming back to the rest of the comment, Thank you for showing up here. Yes, figured it would be a nice thing to have everything at one place. I had forgotten about that one shot actually hmm...this siggy was inspired by two things actually, DYM a ff and this japanese wine tasting series...originally I meant to make it more mafia type with guns and wine spill but I think the romantic in me took over- but as you've probably read, someone has given a 😕 on that so I'm gonna attempt a mafia version of that one soon.

Feel free to drop in or pm me your requests if you have any. Just curious, you an IK fan too? but you say you haven't watched KYPH?

I think my personal favorites are Pablos and then R.com...Pablo's because it was the first one and r.com because of Tyson, whom I love and miss...I wish this show had a second season..:( am going to miss it.
