hiyaaa, idk where to post this topic, so sozzz if it's in the wrong place, I thought this was the most appropriate forum.

Does anyone know how to extract audio from a video? so that it's in MP3 format... any reccomended softwares?

You could use Windows Movie Maker...it is so easy to to get audio from a video. Could help if you want =]

I tried using that but it doesn't support the vid format or something. :/ The vids are mp4 format...

The vid format will have to be wmv or summin...you cud convert it and then try and import it...using Movie Maker is the easiest way I know. All you gotta do is put the video in the audio bar and you get your audio...so easy. Try and import the video after converting it...will surely work

You can also use Total Video Converter...That's what i use to convert my youtube videos or best why don't u just download codec that supports .mp4 in movie maker...this will enable .mp4 videos in movie maker! 😃

Well just learned from my friend that movie maker doesn't support .mp4 at all...even after u download the codec...u'll have to convert it! In total video converter...u can directly convert into .mp3 from there coz that software gives conversion for videos and audio...but its just 7 days free trial!
