Kiran, a huge fan of Anand's writing is devouring a book by him. Aastha wants to discuss her career with Sid. Just then Sia requests Sid to go with her but storms out angrily when Aastha doesn't allow Sid to go with her. Abhi and Simran disagree on Aastha and Sid's relationship. Kiran requests Anil Shourie for money, but he refuses. Kiran sees Abhi performing yoga and approaches him. Abhi ignores her but she insists on hugging him. Just then Simran enters and sees them together.

Simran is shocked to see Kiran and Abhi together. Simran tells Abhi that now nobody can affect their relationship. Sid apologizes to Sia for not accompanying her the earlier day. Kiran gets to know that Abhi and Simran are staying in the same hotel and at dinner and embarrasses them by introduces both of them to the other guests having dinner. Kiran's behavior makes Abhi angry and he slaps Kiran.

Kiran tells Simran that she will take revenge from them by exposing their truth to the whole world. Simran surprises Kiran by telling her that Abhi is infact Anand. Abhi meets Kiran in the corridor and tells her that he is married to Simran again. Abhi's mother tells Aastha that Abhi and she will now stay with Simran. Aastha is disturbed by this and goes to Simran and tells her that she will not let Abhi stay at Simran's place because it is the wife's duty to come to the husband's house and not vice versa.

Simran decides to stay at Abhi's place. Saurabh and Shaguna are upset with Simran's decision. Sia decides to stay back to give Saurabh company, while Simran and Abhi go to Abhi's place. Aastha tells Simran that she should prepare a good meal for everyone considering that she is newly married. Abhi's parents and Abhi are upset with Aastha. Simran tries to talk to her but she is antagonistic towards her. Aastha is extremely upset with Abhi and Simran's marriage and decides to play her last card

Shekhar asks Simran to join him for a walk but Simran calls Shekhar to Aastha's grand parents' place instead. Aastha behaves like a mother-in-law with Simran. Anil tells Kiran that she is a liability on him and that she shouldn't have sent their son, Yash abroad to study. Abhi and Simran decide to hold a press conference to announce their wedding. Kiran is disgusted on seeing their interview on TV and warns Abhi's folks that she will take the matter to court, as Abhi has not yet divorced her.

Abhi tells Kiran that she cannot take legal action on his marriage since his marriage with Kiran was not legal. Kiran meets a lawyer but he tells her that there is not much that she can do because she and Abhi had separated seven years back. Anil asks Kiran to vacate the house she is living in as he is going through a financial crisis. Aastha continues to behave badly with Simran. Kiran realizes that Aastha is Abhi and Simran's weakness. Kiran calls up Aastha and tells her that she is her mother and Neha's friend. Aastha is shocked.
