Simran= major weirdo

Ok.. Simran is like supposedly a 50 year old DOCTOR...then why is it that she ALWAYS wears the same ugly saris? I mean come on, its not like shes poor or anything... they're always the same ugly material, just different color. Its just too obvious to ignore. And wow! finally she got some new colors...lol.. on top of that shes so abnormally afraid of her father... its not like shes a teenager that she has to be afraid of every little thing she does. Besides, so what if he finds out? Its not like she depends on him for anything. After all, she IS the one who provides for the family and is taking care of him. It just seems a little weird how such a grown woman is so afraid of her father.
Another thing, why the heck is she ALWAYS crying? It's enough to make me wanna throw up! 🤢 She's not a little baby. And its not like the problems that come in her life are life-threatening or something... so why does she always cry.... its just TOO weird...

Dont get me wrong, i AM a fan of the show.. its just that there are a lot of things that make Simran look... ehm... retarded...😆

Probably she thinks it is more elegant to wear such bland sarees all the time. Good question why is she afraid of her father. I don't think she is afraid, she just poses to be. Because all this while she has been lying to her father whom she supposedly respects the most. It's all her hypocrisy.

She keeps crying to get the sympathy of people around her. That's one way to put it. And don't get me wrong, I like the show too ;)

Well, they should provide more clothes, but why focus on clothes, shes just a doctor and also about 50 years old, and plus, we all watch the show, not for the clothes!!

Well all i can say is she is not scared of her dad she wants to keep her dad heart and it is good that at that age she still bother to keep his heart and do not want to hurt him, it is true she is supporting the family but that doesn't mean that she can be RUDE to her dad. Why is she always crying cmon if a child whom is not ur own and you brought her up end up she is so damn rude to you and call you name of cos she will feel hurt and as a woman the only way she can express her feeling is CRYING... hopes this clear all your doubts but just finish the serial!!!!!

I don't think she's weird or retarded. Maybe unstylish and overly ethical n emotional. But certainly not retarded or weird. In regards to clothes. She's FIFTY. That says a lot in itself. I don't see a lot of 50yr old individuals dressing to impress, or even dressing up decently. People in their 50's don't particularly care, they are past the superficial phase.

In regards to her crying. Yea, it's a bit much. But think about it. If you brought a kid up as your own. And latter in life they acted the way that spoilt brat is, a mother would be horrified. It's emotional torment for a character who's ethical, loving, and patient. Now if it was me in Simran's Place. I would have kicked that brat out of the house, the minute she threw a temper-tantrum. If not that, certainly set her straight, her regards to her screwed paradigm

lolz, i liked all of your replies to ymlh333's comment, i actually think her sari's are stylish, i have said before, her fashion sense is quite good, i have to say, she has been wearing the same type of sari's since the beginning of the programme, but they are really nice, and they suit her alot. Her wedding dress was really Over The Top!, she isnt a 25 year old bride, even at the wedding 18 years ago, she wore sumthing simpler than that.

As for her crying, i laugh every time she cries,(that sounds mean) but thge way she cries is hilarious, especially 6 months ago, wher Manas called her the other woman in Abhi's life, and she cried for days on end, that was funny, it is just a habiut that her charctor has got into, it does make her look a bit stupid, but she is never retarded.

I haven't seen Simran's sarees lately, after the gap especially, but earlier, she used to wear beautiful chiffons. They suited her and she looked elegant and beautiful and so very everyday - a winner hands down compared to the gaudy kanjivarams and sequined black drapes that most of the TV sob heroines and vamps wear today.

wawahehe, this topic is about the way Simran dresses and behaves as a woman. It has nothing to do with her intelligence and what she can or cannot examine as a doctor.
