Hi Smitha,

Have you seen Agni Nakshatram?? Starring Prabhu, Amla, Karthik and Nirosha. I loved the songs in the movie. Especially Ninnu Kori Varanam.. How about Avvai Shanmugi? In fact I prefer seeing the original version of all movies - so if the originals were in Tamil I would have watched that. Like Roja, etc..Another quite good movie was Mauna Raagam..

Wow, great answers.!!!

Btw, unakku madisaru kattika teriyuma? 😕 I struggle so much with it, whenever i have to wear it... 😆 It is my MIL who helps me out all the time... Also, what are the occassions you wear it for? (My mil asks me to wear it on many occassions in a year😭)

Unakku pidicha tamil hero yaaru? Heroine yaaru? Unakku pidicha Director Balachander aa?

The films you have listed are all nostalgic to me also... But, i wonder how you liked Anniyan... 😕 What did you like in that movie, bcos i hated it...

Do yo uknow to read and write Kannada? Do you know to read and write Tamil?

Have you seen any Kannada Movies? If so, what are they?

Do you like old tamil movies or the new ones?

Which is the song you like the most in these films: Mouna Raagam, Anjali, Kandukonden Kandukonden, Alaipayuthe, Nayakan, MMK, Chandramukhi.

I like the actor Karthik a lot. What do you think about him as an actor? I simply love his films, Varusham 16, Gopura Vasalile and the one with him and Revathy with Khushboo too(forgot the name).

These are few of my questions... Will be back later...

Hi Smitha, Hi Pallavi,

Have you seen Agni Nakshatram?? Starring Prabhu, Amla, Karthik and Nirosha. I loved the songs in the movie. Especially Ninnu Kori Varanam..Yup...me2..There's one more song in it which i love 'Thoongadha vizhigal rendu'😊

There are some more i like....Balachander movies like Sindhu bhairavi,Azhagan(Mamooty,Banupriya,Madhubala, etc),it had some good songs too.

Then there are Maniratnam movies like Nayakan,Bombay, dhalapathi. They were a little serious but better than so many other movies.

Then Punnagai Mannan, moonraampirai,Michaelmadanakamarajan,Magalir mattrum(Revathy,Urvashi).I wud love to see these again.Getting nostalgic.

Will come back when i think of some more good ones😊.

Oh, my God, Smitha, only this moring on my way to work I was thinking of the song 'Thoongadha vizhigal rendu'! I take what I wrote in my previous post back, THIS is my favourite song in that movie😃. All the songs were good, but according to me this was the best.

Is Anniyan the movie about Multiple Personality Disorder? Or am I mixed up? If so, it is kind of (though not completely) based on Sidney Sheldon's "Tell me your dreams". Oh, yes, I like Balachander movies too. Do you read often? If so, what kind of books?

Wow! So you like Sidney Sheldon's books too. I used to be a big fan of his books - have you read Master of the Game? That is my all time favourite and of course "If Tomorrow Comes"..

Well, yes, his recent books are like that. Like in the case of most modern day authors - once you discover their style of writing it becomes predictable!! But the two or three books I read of his in the early 90s like Master of the Game, If Tomorrow Comes, Rage of Angels, bloodline are good.. Have you read Sherlock Holmes? Conan Doyle's style of writing was so different in almost all his books - but then he is not a modern day author!!

Hi Smitha,

I am glad that you are happy being a homemaker..That is what counts. One can do a job well only if one's heart is in it.When I was younger, after my son became a little more independant and we could afford good domestic help,I used to feel upset that I was "not doing anything". I wish for you never to have that feeling of dissatisfaction.

I like your honesty in saying that you would have reacted like Neha. I found her character completely real ...in various discussions I have asserted that her feelings were very normal.Any newly married wife would have the same feelings of insecurity if her husband was like Abhi. She was a loving wife and a daughter in law.

I don't think you are any less qualified...if you were keen to work I'm sure you would have done the needful.

Did you always want to live in the USA ,I mean did marriage realize a dream of yours?

What is it about the US you like the most? and dislike?

What do you miss the most(besides family, ofcourse) about India?

Shall try hard to be back with more questions.I have a busy weekend ahead.

Have a nice weekend...Cheers

Hi Smita..
Am back again

Are you a person who easily compromise?
Do you believe in Survival of the fittest?
Do you handle things from heart or by mind?

Sorry for the heavy questions on a friday... 😆
