Update Friday Nov. 25, 2005

Simran and Saakshi are shocked to learn that the minister's son had raped the maid and are quite angry at the minister's wife trying to hide such a heinous crime. Simran and Saakshi are determined to get the maid justice and tell the minister's wife that the maid needs to be kept under observation and would have to stay overnight at the hospital. The minister's wife reluctantly agrees and before leaving warns the maid with dire consequences if she ever lets anyone on the truth. When Simran and Saakshi are alone, Saakshi tells Simran that she must get a grip on her anger and they all decide to help the maid. Only Simran, Saaskhi, Urmila, Sid, Shankar and Yash are privy to the truth and Simran tells all that no one else is to know of what has happened as the minister could have some spies around at the hospital and they may not get the chance to get the maid some justice.

Later Yash is talking with his mother, Kiran and realises that he could take advantage of the current situation and take his revenge and Kiran and Yash try to come up with some plan. Just then Sid comes and tells Yash that he would do the patrol at night. Yash is not sure how much of his conversation with his mother Sid has overhead.

At the college Gaurav is quite snappy with everyone and Sia cannot understand why he is so mad at all. When Sid comes to visit Sia at the college too, Gaurav is quite upset at seeing them together and both Sid and Sia are oblivious of Gaurav's feelings.

Saakshi comes to Yash and gets him some sweets. She also gifts him a T-shirt as a token of her appreciation for taking care of her when she was unwell. They get talking and Yash makes a remark of "his generation". Then tells Saakshi but you too are of "my generation". Saakshi tells him that she is 32 and Yash tell her that she look barely 25-26. Yash seems quite smitten by Saakshi and is excited with his gift and immediately changes into his new T-shirt in Saakshi's presence. It is a perfect fit and he gives Saakshi a hug all of which makes Saakshi very uncomfortable. Yash realises this and tells her that he has been brought up in America where this is an accepted form of greeting. Saakshi tells him that she too has spent a few years in America and is used to it. At the hospital, Shankar who is in charge of the security at the hospital, tells the security that he is going out for a while and they should be extra vigilant whilst he is away and not get lax.

The minister's maid, Shanti, is in her room at the hospital, when a man, with his face covered with a hanky, comes into her room and tries to strangulate her. She puts up a fight and in the fracas scratches his forearms and starts screaming. The man jumps out of her room window and escapes before Sid and a nurse come in, Sid tells the nurse to prepare a sedative injection for the maid and to keep one of the security men outside her room. Shankar comes there and asks everyone what happened whilst he was away. Shankar tells them that when he was returning he bumped into a man whose face was covered and was running away and he chased him but the man got away after scratching him. Sid and Shankar decide not to tell Simran what has happened as it is quite late and to tell her everything the next morning.

Next morning when Abhi is reading the headlines in the newspaper to Simran, both are shocked to read a news item stating that the previous night someone had tried to rape a 22 year old girl at Astha General Hospital.
