My questions:

1) What did you feel when you saw your husband for the first time?

I was very very tense when i saw him for the first time.!!! Actually, I saw him only after my marriage was settled and date and venue were fixed. He was in USA then, he had come down to Chennai for 7 days😆, just to see me. He did not want to postpone the tenion to another 3 months(marriage was scheduled after 3 months). I saw him at his house for the first time.... It was a mixed reaction. Tension, Relief at seeing him, Fear, Anxiety, Happiness were all seen in my face at the same time!!!😉

2) Can you recall any particular interesting episode from childhood?

After my birth, before my father settled in Mysore, we were in Chennai for some time with grandparents. My grandfather was working in the Theosophical Society, Chennai. We had a quarters there. I was some 2 years or little above that... I used to be very close to the neighbour uncle there. He used to do gardening every morning, I used to help him out ....My parents have lots of pictures of that, though I do not remember the joyous time I had then as a gardener, the pictures made me recreate the joy!!!

Hmm, This is the only sad feeling that my hubby has, that i did not learn classical music. He loves it so much!!!

I will not judge my own cooking. So to be fair, i will tell you what my hubby says!! He says, I make the best Paneer Peas Masala...😃

Yes, I have read many Mary Higgins Books... I have read While my Pretty one Sleeps". But i have not read "Remember Me". But, to me, my favourite remains "Daddy's Little Girl"...

I like reading Shakespeare plays...My favourite there is "Merchant of Venice"...

Saturdays, i usually go to my mom's place. Sunday, I an my hubby plan it out. It will be either Cinema, Drama or just having a walk in the Chennal Beach!!!

Do you cook Dosa - Sambar often ? ( my mouth is watering)

Yes, Idli and Dosa are the most common breakfasts we have at home...I do prepare them!!!

Any fav restaurants around town ?(Name) . Have you eaten at Dakshin at the Chola or is it Park ?

No favourites as such, bcos we both keep changing the hotel...😆 No, I have not been to Dakshin!!

Have you ever worked ? If yes do you miss working now ? If no , would you like to work ever ? Are u satisfied being a house wife ?

Yes, I was working before marriage. After marriage, i worked for more than a year. Regarding working again, this is a very tough question to answer... But yes, I am very very satisfied at being a house wife!!!

Briefly whats your day like at home ?( Would be nice to compare notes )

Get up. Have breakfast and lunch ready before my hubby leaves. I pray, the have my breakfast. I then spend time on my comp, in IF.😃 If i have any household chore to do, i also do that side by side...Watch some TV in the afternoon, read some books, if in a reading mood!!!Evening, plan out what dinner to make. I then make it. See some TV at night. This is my routine!!!

Did u have a luv or arranged marriage ? If love , how ? If arranged , what does it feel like to marry a stranger ?😊

Arranged marriage. Hmm, actually for me, just my hubby was a stranger. I met him only after our marriage was settled and date booked. But, i had seen almost all his relatives, close ones, well before my marriage. So this helped me a lot, when I eventually saw him!!!

I used to jot down the different scenes. It so happens there are bits of scenes shown happening at 3 different places. So one such scene might skip out of mind. So i write the headers, change in scenes in a paper. This helps me to write everything that happened.

But there are days when I need to finsih some work in the kitchen. So i am running between kitchen and serial. On those days, i have to depend fully on my memory....

No, i basically dislike seeing the new version. I feel the original version has more essence. So i have seen Roja, but not the Hindi version.

Do you read and write Tamil? Since you grew up in Mysore, just asked..

Yes, thanks to my grandpa, i know to read as well as write Tamil. But i am not that fluent in it. But, Something is better than Nothing, Isn't it?

What are your favourite vacationing places in India?

Do you keep in touch with your school and college friends? How deos it feel when you know you are going to meet them after a few years?

Yes, I believe in being more close to friends than relatives. So, i do keep in touch with many of my friends from school and college. I write letters to many.... I love writing letters...😃

Its a fantastic feeling to again meet your friends. I would love to keep in touch with all my friends till the end of my life!!!

What are your favourite books other than Mary Higgin? Especially when growing up as a kid?
