what a turn in the serial. Simran and Abhimanyu

OMG! Why do the serials keep copying off each other? Cant they think of nething original?! They keep on showing the main characters having other children on the side.

Kkusum: Abhay's Trishul
Piya Ka Ghar: Avinash's Mahaan and Mantra
Sindoor: Viren's Rudra
Astitva: Abhi's Yash
And God knows how many others there are!!!

Astha was spoilt kid, it was Radhaji's & Abhi's genes and not Simran's upbringing.
Yash is spoilt because he has Kiran's & Abhi's genes and not Kiran's upbringing.
Sia is too nice because she has Simran's genes and not Archana's upbringing.
Am I getting the director's message right?

But what puzzels me is why did Kiran keep it a secret. She always wants to create havoc in Simran's life, so why keep her son from Abhi secret?
