what about affection for sia?

I was watching the serial in the Us where it has been shown today that Simran has lost her eyesight..while the whole thing is touching..what I dont get is Simran hardly ever asks for Sia...all she wanted was Aastha and Abhi..the only time she made a reference to Sia was to find out if she was with Aastha or not. A mother should be concerned for both her daughters equally..aastha was with her in the accident so her concern is more..but simran is also injured..how about she is not shown asking for Sia? After all, she also had a narrow escape and her other daughter could be worried for her..I wonder why this aspect of the relationship is not shown. Sia's character is shown as a forgiving large hearted woman who doesnt keep all this in her heart and still loves her mother as much..depsite being the kid who was kidnapped..and simran has not been shown as being more considerate with Sia earlier.I wonder if Sia really feels at home and like seh belongs there with the amount of love & attention she is shown getting from simran.

well this is was just a few thoughts i had and wanted to share...and wonder why this aspect of the mother daughter relationship has not really been explored by the director so far.

You have made a very good point. It is very uncommon for someone to build relationship with someone just like that. Sia's character is so unrealistic. Simran's affection is more toward's astha...yes. this is director's way of gaining more sympathy votes for our great dr simran. She is so mahan that she is ignoring her own flesh and blood daughter's feeling and she is more concerned with adopted astha's feelings. It's to show again how great dr simran is!
If I were Sia...I will be pissed. But remember in a indirect way show is still praising Dr simran because sia is her daughter and that's why she is an exact copy of her mother. She has same qualities as simran...forgiveness, unconditional love, empathy...
