Addiction to K/C/J-Pop/movie/drama

How did you get addicted to Asian movies/drama/music? Like, how were you first introduced to it? 😊

First off, I used to live next to a korean plaza, so i always used to go there, and thats when i saw a poster of this korean movie (now I know that the poster was for the movie " The Art of Seduction") and I thought the poster was kool... and I had the AZN channel, so once by flipping through the channels, I came across a chinese drama and got addicted to it and from then, I went on youtube and searched for it, but instead I came across the drama 'Loveholic' soo that led me to the whole new world of korean movies/dramas....😃

Why do you like Asian shows?😃

and does your love for Asian shows make you feel that you are different from others? 😊

It makes me feel different but that doesnt really stop me from sharing the korean-ness with all of my relatives and friends; I got my mom hooked onto 'Goong' and my dad onto korean MVs and Lee Jun Ki movies...lol; My Aunts and cousins love 'My Girl'... 😃

Im sooooo happy to get away from the Ekta kapoor shows and hindi songs/channels/movies since in my opinion, its garbage for the brain. 😆

Well for me ...I was bored of hindi (kekta shows) and wanted something more that disjointed episodes of american thriller/detective shows. While surfing channels ,I came to AZN where second episode of rain's famous show "full house " was playing. I got hooked and then rest is history

i started thanks to tiki and later on khush. started with MNIKSS, saw it like 10 times coz it was that good 😆 😆 and then Goong and My girl and full house...which were also very good. and then i pretty much lost it and saw a lot more dramas. 😆

and yea i do feel different. and iono why but its hard for me to tell my other friends how addicted i am to it. it feels weird? but i love these shows... :p

it all started with Tiki and Priya...who were raving about Goong during the xmas break last year...so i randomly youtubbed it and watched like one episode..which got me curious so i started watching from the beginning and was hookedd....its been nonstop since them😆

i dont really tell neone i watch asian dramas but its not like ill keep it a secret if someone asks me lol....but yeah i mean its weird if ur friends dont watch them but u do..i guess they do wonder why im up so late watching stuff on my laptop😆

For Me its KHAIR AND PARITA! ISWAK= It started with Khair [and cont. with parita] Actually Khair tried to convince me to watch these shows but..the kind of hard nut I am..I initially didn't 😆 Then Parita literally forced me to watch ISWAK on youtube's 10 min part. Since then...I am hooked 😛

My sister and me were getting fed up of our favourite hindi telly actors abandoning their roles and the stories loosing their storylines, then my sis came across a GA about Asian Shows forum and we thought of checking it out. My sister downloaded Goong and we loved it. From that time, we have been hooked to Korean/Chinese/Japanese shows.

For me it started due to frustration with Indian serials. Korean channel KBS is next to ZeeTv Channel. So, accidentally I started to watch it. The first serial was "FULL HOUSE". Just loved it. So far I've seen "second Proposal", "Thank you Life", "Landscape to my Heart", "War of roses", "Rosemary".
I love the definite ending rather than nonsense storyline. I love the realistic storyline, the wonderful realistic acting, beautiful and handsome actors, the exposure to different culture. Just Love it.
