well if had to rate gokusen , i would give it 4.5 out of 5. the story is about a woman who is the only heir to yazzuka empire but she loves to teach.she ends up hiding her identity and becomes the home room teacher of 3D , a class full of socially disruptive characters. her dedication and her background with underworld training works great and all students end up graduating eventually . there is a side lovestory ofcourse when she falls for a cop ....there is a genius student in her class swada shin who is the leader, it is funny to see her trying to convince him of her sincerity. out of all the shows , i think jun is most charismatic in this one. i almost wish he would end up falling for his teacher . the lady who plays teacher is pretty funny too because she seems to mess up her identity quite often . it is somewhere in between hanakimi and smiling pasta when it comes to format (ofcourse there is only a strong romantic undercurrent , nothing ever really happens)
